  1. Ricardo Fuller.
  2. Kelvin Davis has taken more than his fair share over the years. But what about the players who got away with it? Terry Hurlock was awful but I don't remember him getting stick and of course the legend that is Frannie Benali was very poor for most of his career (although he did improve towards the end of his career).
  3. True but he isn't the only one who hasn't played so well for England - a team we should remember that has done nothing since 1966.
  4. Isnt that what the players pay their agents for? He may well of had a word but I assume they have minds of their own and we know from Lovren that his was already in Merseyside. I also seem to remember a certain Michael Channon "tapping up" Kevin Keegan when they were room mates for England.
  5. Chambers may well become a good player one day and maybe he has been thrown in at the deep end too soon at Arsenal, but from what I have seen so far this season I can see why we took the £16m and ran. What with Lovren as well both very good bits of business.
  6. It is simple, the guy has been one of the best English Premiership players ever. England have been poor for some time now, even with England's other sweetheart David Beckham. To blame Gerrard for a poor England is harsh (and who will ever forget the 1-5 thrashing of Germany?).
  7. City haven't done to bad out of the Lampard move have they. It would be awesome having a player like Gerrard at the club. Not only would it be a boost to the academy players coming though it would give more options from the bench. Not that it will happen of course.

    Ched Evans

Not sure if he has done well out of this as a person. He will always be known as a rapist and football fans are not quick to forget or forgive (even if he eventually clears his name).

Not sure what that has to do with this case. As I recall she didn't accuse anyone of rape. And this doesn't exclude her of having been raped before.
  10. Doesn't mean that he hasn't been a quality player though.
  11. I have seen Lambert miss plenty of chances. He is doing a tough job and it part of the reason, along with Forster and all the others, why we are doing well. As others have said, if he was "excellent" not only would he cost more money he would also be playing for another team.
  12. To me this is one of Eastwood's best ever movies. Not only not what you would expect from him but an excellent movie all round.
  13. Does that mean that have sold an extra shirt?
  14. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/resources/images/3459487.jpg?type=article-full Apparently she liked the flowers but not the Bovril!
  15. Quality yesterday. Do people still want Boruc back?
  16. Gerrard has been a quality player and in his prime would have walked into most people's best Prem side of all time. Like Le Tissier, he has also been a one club man and could have gone elsewhere if he had chosen too but stayed loyal to his club. He may not be the player he was but any rational football supporter would have wanted Gerrard in their side when he was at his best. He will get a lot of media coverage and it is well deserved.
  17. Ronald is way to cool to wear a coat like that!
  18. Wheel status???
  19. Signing Koeman.
  20. One of the big problems we face is religious extremism and fundamentalism. A Christian extremist can be just as dangerous as any other and there are an awful lot of them in the States.
  21. I have had a couple of holidays in Turkey and have kept in touch with many of the Turks I met and they would love to have us back. Not all of the Brits who go abroad get drunk and make ar*ses of themselves. What North America doesn't have is any history worth talking about going back more than a couple of hundred years which is why some of them venture to Europe etc for some older culture.
  22. In the 1830s, a story began to circulate in the US press that German had almost became the official language of the newly founded US—the motion apparently defeated by only one vote. Actually, to this day, America does not have an official language—not even English. The story— now known as the Muehlenberg legend—was mostly fabrication, but it did have a kernel of truth.
