I think that the hammering that Labour took under Corbyn still gives Starmer nightmares and he is conscious of the whole Brexit farce from them then. Although the attitude is changing and the Brexiteers are dying off, he is still wary of going too far back towards the EU. It really is a no brainer now as far as the economy is concerned (and Trump’s US turning into an unpredictable mess). Labour are starting to make the right noises but fully agree, they need to be much more positive starting now.

I was going to give up watching QT and didn’t watch it this week. However, after hearing how well one of the members of the panel performed I caught up with it yesterday. Zac Polanski was a breath of fresh air and punctured the Reform mouthpiece perfectly. I don’t agree that we are not an attractive proposition to anyone with experience. I think that those who are available at the moment don’t fit the bill. Eckert was given the u21 job because he had the potential to eventually move up to the top job. This has happened sooner than expected because Will Still didn’t work out. He will either turn out to be a good appointment or not. Either way it doesn’t mean that the job of manager/head coach at St. Mary’s isn’t attractive to an experienced manager.

Let’s get this right. I didn’t accuse youof following me around on Pap’s forum. I said that you had an issue with me there, which you did. You didn’t even remember being on there when I mentioned it previously. This was ten years ago and I can’t remember exactly what you took issue with, my posting style I expect, but I wasn’t your favourite poster in the short time you were there. It is no big deal, you are still a grumpy individual and still have a pop at me, so nothing has changed.
