  1. Musk…part of the problem? https://amp.theguardian.com/technology/article/2024/aug/05/elon-musk-harris-grok-misinformation
  2. The only thing you have in the palm of your hand is your todger when you post your drivel and get off on the replies. You got thrown off of a football forum for being a twat. Well done! As for where I currently live, I have lived in many different places and have worked in many towns and cities. I am just as qualified as anybody on here to have an opinion on what is going on thanks. I should add that the smart people on here laugh at you, not with you and that being a narcissist is nothing remotely to be proud of.
  3. He is just loving this. He has been playing this angle for years. Stoking up racial divide and speaking to the hoodies brigade. Many of the Reform votes come from these people. “Nothing to do with me,” he says yet in the same broadcast he talks about how England isn’t England anymore which is exactly what the rioters parrot. He is a far right agitator who plays those without much between their ears like a fiddle, just like dictators have done so through the years. As said before, straight out of the Orwell playbook. Create your demon, in this case foreigners, and blame the reason your life is crap on them. Fortunately, so far, the push back from the people he has demonised has been relatively low. He plays down the violence from his own supporters in this broadcast yet bigs up tyres being slashed and journalists running away (did they really?). Not great obviously, but hardly on par with the petrol bombing of police, setting fire to premises with immigrants inside and the violence we have seen from his supporters so far. These people are his storm troopers. What they don’t realise is that he doesn’t give a flying f**k about them and is just using them as pawns in his grift. The same with the people who come on here and back him up. You have all been conned. He takes legitimate concerns and he plays on people’s fears. Your children are more likely to be sexually assaulted by a family member or a white person than an Asian, but you won’t here that from him and the gullible swallow it hook line and sinker. Where ever he goes he hears people speaking in foreign languages (his children speak German so no surprise if it hears that at home) and that is the reason you are struggling with money and your life is crap. Bloody immigrants coming over here and taking our jobs. This is bog standard dictator rhetoric from the 1930’s and beyond. The sad thing is that there are some people who want to believe it so they park any of the critical faculties they may and go along for the ride. He mentioned James O’Brien. Why? Because he has Farage bang to rights and has been exposing his grift for years. When our very own Farage apologist/plant Delldays/Batman/AlexLaw calls out James O’Brien you know that he has touched a nerve. There are all manner of serious issues that need to be addressed, but they need to be addressed coolly, rationally and with appealing to the baser instincts, which is precisely what Farage is seeking to do here and what Trump tries to do in the US. In public Farage will say that he doesn’t support violence, Tommy Robinson, far right thugs, yet these are the very people he is aiming to stir up. He is the well spoken, smart suited face of far right anarchy. He winds them up, they do his bidding, they then do the jail time whilst he is down his local ale house fiddling his MPs expenses (just as he fiddled his MEPs expenses). He is a useful idiot for Putin and Trump and he plays a large section of the British public for suckers. The people of Clacton have done this country a great disservice. Now watch the laughing emojis appear from the very people who swallow his guff 😂
  4. Tell us, what “culture” do people have when they trash towns and terrify innocent, normal people who just want to get on with their lives? Do these people represent all that is good about British values to you? Tell us please, what “culture” do these people have that is so commendable to you?
  5. What do you think about racism for whites against Asian people? Do you know that there are more white grooming gangs than Asian? There are areas that are no go areas for brown/black people too. There are huge drug problems with white people/county lines. More white people are involved in crime than non-white. What you seem happy to completely ignore is that the problems that you focus on are more of an issue that involve white people who comprise of over 80% of the population of the UK. You are no different to the people that are causing the riots. You see what you want to see. You hear what you want to hear. There are many problems in this country. They involve people of all colours, races and creeds. When you just focus on a specific group, ignoring the bigger picture, that is pure, blinkered racism. You have the same issues with gay people, transgender people, woke people. Nigel Farage is not the answer. You like to think you are a smart cookie. If you were as smart as you think you are you would listen to people with a wider, more mature world view than those you seem to seek out normally.
  6. Well, they want their country back. How do you propose that happens? They also want all migrants deported. Again, any ideas? Cultural integration. How does that happen when they hate Muslims? Sort out policing to their satisfaction. How does that happen when they constantly break the laws of the land and put themselves against the police? The problem is not that they have a point and we need to listen to them. The problem is that they hate certain types of people, don’t want them here and want a fantasised version of Engerland that never actually existed anyway (and one in which they still would be bottom of the food chain. When the best of you is Tommy Robison you are in trouble. You can’t negotiate with pondlife.
  7. Not that there was any doubt, but this says it all. To be fair to Stewart and Sopel, they would probably prefer to have a beer with Musk than you too! And Twitter is a cesspit so I expect you fit right in with your views.
  8. I could do with the money!
  9. Scumbags are scumbags, you are quite right, but everyone calls out a scumbag. The difference here is that there are a great many scumbags who hate foreigners, think we are are still the same country who used to have a huge Empire and are superior to the rest of the world and most of them are thick as mince. You see them in the riots here and you see them wrecking town centres at England matches abroad. They are usually covered with tattoos, shaved heads and are tanked up on booze/drugs. They are particularly unpleasant and are rightly called out because there are a great many of them and they are a stain on this country. Being “lower class” has nothing to do with anything. There are plenty of working class people who don’t behave like they do. They get called out for what they are and the way they behave. Moronic scumbags. If any others behaved like they do, they would also be called moronic scumbags. They are only stereotyped because they are stereotypical moronic scumbags.
  10. If you get 5 years for gluing yourself to the tarmac trying to save the planet, what should you get for trying to burn people alive because they have a different colour skin?
  11. The Bob Dylan and Joan Baez of the Gen Z generation?
  12. The DPP is considering bringing terrorist charges against some of the rioters. Maybe these morons will think twice before trying to burn people alive now? It’s not a good look having terrorist on your CV when you claim to love your country.
  13. Not because it’s ok to hate Muslims then?
  14. Or just double standards?
  15. Delldays, you are up for a conspiracy theory, what do you make of this? The government and the media seem very wary of using the term “Islamophobia” in relation to the recent riots (where mosques and Muslims are being targeted). If it was Jewish people being targeted and Synagogues being attacked do you think that it would be described far and wide as anti-Semitic? Two tier approach maybe? 🤔
  16. They are doing Tommy Robinson’s work for him - spreading misinformation and stirring up hate. I believe the term is “useful idiots.”
  17. Did you see the clip of the woman saying that the Titanic sunk because there were too many people on it and the same is happening to this country?
  18. Did I miss something? Were they part of the recent rioting? Or was this a completely unrelated incident that is being treated normally by the CJS? What do you think?
  19. The definition of a pogrom is the organised massacre of helpless people/ethnic groups. Exactly how many people were massacred in Birmingham last night? I think, had there been a massacre there, we would be talking about that today wouldn’t we?
  20. Where does it say that they have not been or will not be charge? Or have you made something up again?
  21. Two tier policing? Maybe give this a read and give an opinion? https://amp.theguardian.com/world/article/2024/aug/06/first-edition-far-right-riots-police
  22. You seem to believe that there is a two tier policing system and that it favours black and brown people over white people. What is your view over black and brown people who believe that they are discriminated against by the police because of their skin colour? Do you think they are wrong? The Met have been found to be “institutionally racist.” How does that fit in with your two tier policing theory?
  23. Why would you doubt it? It doesn’t say that racism doesn’t exist at all in the bottom rank clubs.
  24. So why say that it wasn’t being talked about? Why are you getting yourself so worked up about the condemnation of the action of far right thugs?
  25. Jess Phillips’s comments were unhelpful and she should know better but Lee Anderson shows zero self awareness for condemning her comments after spending months himself stoking the hate against migrants. Sadly the rioters are now getting what they want, a reaction from the very people they are attacking in order to justify their original actions. Anyone taking to the streets with intent to break the law should be dealt with accordingly and the communities under attack need to show composure and restraint. Let’s not pretend though that the situation is equatable. We have had several days of rioting from far right thugs before a reaction from those targeted. The last thing we need is a reciprocal approach from those targeted in other areas or Musk might be on the money.
