  1. The jammiest bunch of cnuts.
  2. Maybe people enjoy a different football experience to you?
  3. I don't disagree with most of this, but isn't he still statistically the worst keeper in the league?
  4. So....will you be allocated a specific spot to stand on, as per seat number at the moment? Or just an area and stand where you like in it?
  5. That’s a good point……I don’t remember a time when I’ve thought (or SMS has applauded) a top save from him.
  6. Another classic example of the manager clearly seeing something in a player that 99.5% of those in the stands watching don't. Week in, week out. When a player like that is given so many chances over other (seemingly) more talented/interested players, you can't help but wonder if all that you know about the game is actually nothing at all!
  7. Last time i went to ER was in 2005 when Walcott scored in a 2-1 defeat....i remember thinking what a sh*t hole it was, similar to Hillsborough. Is it still a sh*t hole of a ground?
  8. NJ should also be thanked for giving the world “Janny B”.
  9. By definition, if his opinions differ to others then they’re….differing opinions. People slagging off other people on a football forum are equally symptoms of being a simpleton. Some might say. I am not sticking up for him, I just think he’s entitled to his opinion. I happen to think that “the entire medical profession” is a bit of an exaggeration. And yes I have been vaxxed! Not going to lie, I’ve had a shit day so perhaps fancied a vent.
  10. I'm not sure why people think that someone with differing opinions on the world is a simpleton or has autism. I don't agree with what he says, but maybe he just has a different view on things.
  11. I agree with what Glen said on the podcast......for those who listen to it. Chuck him down the middle for the last 10-15 mins, and get him to do some Walcott-esque kick and chase. All that pace, which is still his biggest asset. Mind you, now i've said that it's clearly not how we'll ever play under Rusty.
  12. Their comment is one written by an attention seeking bell end, probably crying out for engagement. Good old social media.
  13. Bordering on assault.
  14. That first Rothwell strike, and the view from directly behind, was a thing of beauty. Leeds and Ipswich will have gone from enjoying their afternoon beer, to chucking their pork scratchings everywhere.
  15. I think he's injured.
  16. Even Sven got a cheerier news thread and he actually is.
  17. Maybe he could become the A Lot Less Drogba?
  18. Thankfully Southgate couldn’t give a monkeys if you don’t play at all….!
  19. Ng from Cardiff....crazy. KWP is so important to how we play, we'd be nuts to sell him full stop regardless of the fee. As already pointed out, he'll get a decent move in the summer if we don't go up and for similar money that we'd get now.
  20. I get that totally - i bought that seat when i was just past my mid 20s and being near the away fans was really appealing as i'd not sampled it before. I guess i quite like the gloating highs, and being gloated at lows that go with being near them. Not sure i'd trust the catering employees even with a couple of slices of normal toast let alone the adding of both butter and marmite peanut butter so i'd happily move away! Being honest, i'm not sure i'd move anyway as i like the view etc where i am - and i'd like to think that it could work. I'm just a bit concerned that the end could become a library unless there's a decent group and concerted effort to make it a special home end.
  21. Taking the wife and child to the game on Sunday - really quite looking forward to it.
  22. I'm in the 2 or 3 rows nearest them, so i hope that answers your question. I just enjoy being near the away fans - i also like peanut butter marmite spread too on BUTTERED toast. Some things i just can't explain - so apologies to you and the hoards of others who you feel need your questions answered.
  23. A good proportion of the songs have always been about the skates. Admittedly a couple are utter sh*te which i wouldn't sing if you paid me....but in recent years the skates feature a lot. That's not going to change. Agree regarding some being like Inbetweeners. But that's the newer generation of fans coming to the games. it's going to happen. I can't stand with how fickle the support is generally these days from some in the Northam. "Off with his head" one minute. "I f**king love this manager" a few weeks later. Maybe that's an element of the modern/younger fan.
  24. I don't disagree in part - i just think it'd wear off pretty quickly and silence would reign.
  25. So where is it better in the ground? Itchen North and some of the Kingsland are the only others where you hear anything.
