As fourth official he should be aware who the management teams are and what their names or job titles are so no need to say “the black bloke” .

No , the club gave them all a letter as they turned up telling them how to behave plus they did their own symbolic act so they could be different so no need for their far right fans to boo what they thought was a lefty supporting knee taking .

Taking the knee in USA was making a point because they did it when their National Anthem was being played . So rather than standing to attention and putting their hand over their heart while turning to face the flag they kneeled on one knee. They said they were doing it to pressure the State to take action to stop black people being killed when being arrested. Here it doesn’t have quite the same resonance which is why football needs a new plan.

Defund the police is a poor choise of words for the actual policy suggestion . The suggestion is that money is spent improving peoples situation to reduce the causes of crime rather than spending more on law enforcement . Ideally spend money on both that way you might meet a police person in the street rather than only seeing them in patrol cars on the motorways or outside bars on match days !!!

You miss the point entirely , if non white people in football had been given a fair chance then they would be better represented in football now. We have read endless stories about discrimination in top clubs and this year FA boss Clarke embarrassed the FA by opening his mouth to prove he was a totally out of touch with regard to non white people and women in 2020 . I do not support quotas etc just fair chances for all . This is not just a white country problem, just look at India in the past and now ...

Football should have shown their support under the "Kick it out" banner to take the political slant out of their gesture of support . Employing more non white coaches , managers and board members etc would be a better move for credability .

Clash of heads means instant sub , over and above number of subs. Heading is a big part of the game (Canavani) so It would be a massive change to outlaw it . Headers by centre backs from long balls by opposition make me wince more than glancing attacking headers .

After listening to english players who played against him and reading some of the articles about his football career I have to admit that he was an extremely talented footballer whose ball control was even better than Messi's. He achieved this by by practicing a skill until he mastered it etc R.I.P.

I remember G Hurst admitting a hand of god goal when West Ham won 6-2 years ago ! I remember the outrage when South American teams in the world club matches kicked our teams off the pitch and European cup matches with the spitting and rolling over and over when tackled. And the late/ off the ball challenges etc . Also Gatusso with his bad tackles and his strategic “sack of spuds” collapses to win a foul to break up an attack .I think Salah has modelled his penalty winning collapses on those .
