Bompy were totally overrun , Liverpool looked like they had 3 extra players. Granted Bournemouth had 2 players injured but they couldn’t string 2 passes together.

Subs playing well are brilliant until they start a match , then they seem to lose their edge , similar to players being really good until they get a new 5 year mega bucks contract .......

I enjoyed watching Saints on MotD today much better that when we watched us lose to Everton at StMarys . Saints looked like a different team , could have won but a point it is !

Markus kept his loss making printing business going as it was the start of the family empire , Kat called a halt as it was not sustainable . Markus would have probably put more into Saints as it was his project , he had been convinced it was the way to go . Gao has jumped on the bandwagon , Pooh Bear deceeded that football was the way to go to get kudos for their country Gao was a latecommer and fell foul of a policy change about exporting money from the country . They (like Man C's owner) couldn't care less about the football club but want kudos for their country to cover up their regime's excesses. Posting insulting comments about Kat is unwarranted , embarrassing and pointless . It was interesting to see all the season ticket fans yesterday chatting to each other , disappointed at losing but discussing seeing each other at the next home match plus staying to the end . The rememberance start to the match was excellent , well observed and a very good last post , it always brings back memories of when my brother was in the Falklands war , and the last post was being played on the news reports ( my brother came back OK) . Here's hoping we don't end up a Sunderland basket case.

Went yesterday, yes Saints are as bad as feared. First half was poor all round , they scored after 2 unchallenged headers in our box from corner. We needed a right and left back and someone to get the ball forward from our half ! Walcott must have thought it was a training session it was so easy to go round our ‘defence’ . Second half a bit of a rally and hope with the equaliser but undone by defensive frailty , Djenepo failed to get near their man with the ball and Richardson finished well unhindered . What to do ? Back 4 with recognised full backs , a midfielder who can move the ball FORWARD and better attacking ideas , it’s no good putting through balls to Ings he hasn’t got the pace !

Pep will probably put out his second team of international players for this one , then revert to the first team of international players for the Saturday Prem game . We will scrape together 11 men (or incredible professionals as Pep called them ) on both occasions . We also thought they were incredible on Friday .
