Not the time to be throwing insults at each other on here . The Leeds 7goal humiliation took long time to get over , they finished the game passing the ball around and we had completely given up . On our current form this will not so devastating plus I'm a lot older so have learnt to deal with disappointment !! Oh good we have just come up on MotD !!!!!!!

Gallagher scores again although they are now losing .
-
It’s good to set new standards 0-9 will be in the record books for a few years . The team could refund anyone who buys an away ticket for the next away game .
-
Unfortunately we have already bought Everton tickets .... will there be a new manager by then ?
-
A bit like Dean Saunders move to Liverpool , his game was based on through balls to run onto and score but they kept sending crosses over his head . Then he left ....
-
The non awarding of the penalty is what they need to sort out , the typo just added to their embarrassment !!!
-
But the Spurs match was v poor , it looked an obvious penalty to Watford Vertonghan slid in and tripped the attacker twice but VAR did not give it ! plus the Ali no goal screen !!!
-
VAR not looking so brilliant in other games yesterday , they need to review the use of VAR , too many questionable decisions which is what it was supposed to eliminate !!
-
We appear to be 4th from bottom ! Well taken goal by Targett for Villa , pleased for him .

Get Forster back ASAP -
I bet he felt good when his goal went in ! IIRC he was used at RB for us on occasions which wasn't applauded on here .
-
Wenger tried to sign him in January before he did leave so they were obviously pretty keen on buying him .
-
In Europe he saved a shot but not the penalty and " was pleased to see a header go over the bar" that's Forster !
-
I obviously jinxed him !!!
-
Watching Kane , Le Tissier and Lambert take penalties I wonder why the rest of the football world are so useless at taking them . Obviously it's a mental thing but Kane hits hard at height and to the corners , brilliant !!

I was going to put forward Peter Sillett but he was a RB ! I watched him as player/manager at Ashford Town as was in the seventies . His party piece was taking free kicks from near the half way line that usually troubled the keeper. Peter was the son of Charlie Sillett (who was a full-back with Southampton from 1931 to 1938) and inherited his father's skills.[2] He joined the Saints in January 1949 and soon afterwards gained England Youth recognition. Extremely well-built, weighing over 13 stone when only 18, Sillett matured quickly into a full-back of some distinction.[2] In 1953, while he was doing his National Service in the RAF he came up against Stanley Matthews when Saints took Blackpool, the eventual winners, to an FA Cup replay. Unfortunately, Southampton were facing mounting debts and, with this fact known to many of the country's top clubs, it wasn't too long before Sillett, together with his younger brother John, was "induced" to join Ted Drake's Chelsea, for a fee of £12,000.[2] In his two seasons at The Dell, he made 65 appearances in all competitions and scored four goals.[1]

Sparing a thought for Bury FC and its fans

The issue in Bury's case is , like Blackpool , the present owner was milking the club . Just before the CVA his daughters partner set up a company which took on a large part of the debt for peanuts. He could then vote for the CVA and the shell company became a major debtor which will freeze out all the small local companies so total disgrace as the owner will profit again by the clubs demise . I would be nice if such maneuvering was illegal in this day and age ................... -
Saints didn't offer big wages or get players on long contracts . So to keep players after the exodus they offered big wage long term contracts to retain players as the fans were complaining ..... now the "fans" are complaining SNAFU .

Should the Prem be offering assistance ? Do we want to see old clubs fail ?
-
Interesting revelation , perhaps all would have been well if the plane had been maintained properly ?

The letter of the law yes but the law needs changing again for offsides and if I was a Wolves fan I would be very upset that their goal was wiped out for a so called handball
