When you think about the captaincy situation then it's makes sense offering it to him on conditions he stays. However it's Reed that will push a deal through because he will not turn down 50m. The guy loves a gamble and a rebuilding job.

Loved to be proved wrong but I felt he faked his injury as he lost the will to play in a **** team.

We were doing suicidal passes in midfield and defence. Never seen us give the ball away so much and we are getting worse and going downwards.

We take so long to negotiate for new managers or players. Need to swallow your pride Reed and get rid of Puel now. Take the three weeks to get a good manager in so we can start in March by getting us moving forward again.

Been great for the club as he has given us premiership stability. It's now stalemate as he can't take us forward any further. His model of selling our best players and bringing in average players is starting to show.

I totally understand your comments and it could very much be true. The thing I dont get is we are hearing about four failed attempts to bring a CB in on the last day which suggests they too are not happy.
