Loving all these long contracts but IMHO some of them are holding us back. Would love an upgrade on Forster, Clasie and PEH to reach a higher level in the premiership.

I get the impression that the black box targets at least 10 players per position. If one of those players seems to be someone the current manager knows/likes then it may become the preferred choice of the panel if the price is right. Pied/Boufal were surely Puel's choice if the price was good and the panel were satisfied. I do expect Pellegrino to have his little selection of players he wants if our black box has rated them in our top 10.

Yes indeed you are right. I know it's all press speculation but the links of a Poland young kid, Italian striker for 15m, Chambers and Gibson who we will never pay 25m for does not excite me. For the next level I would hope for Klaassen who went to Everton, Oliver Giroud or that Manchester City striker who never gets a chance up there. Just my thoughts.

I get the impression that we were worried that our current manager was wanted by palace and that we rushed it through. Very unusual to install a manager without a press conference. The comments by De Boar suggests a dig at us as he knows he was 2nd choice by both clubs.

Totally disagree. it starts right now as we need to either get rid of those that want out and bring in some that will suit our system.

I looked back on the Pottychino thread a few years back and it was embarrassing as many never gave him a chance. I will say this guy will take us into the top 6 come xmas time and we will finish in 7th with a cup final victory in the bag. Our star player will be someone that he has brought into the club for a record total of 23m after add ons.

I would love to know why Tuchel is no longer interested? Keep hearing it was a long way down the line and then all of a sudden he's pulled away. Maybe he wanted his own coaching team or wants a say in bringing players in? My bet is he would only commit to 2 years and not 3 as Reed said the next appointment needs to be long term committed.

Just think it would be nice if we had a decent striker that could barge his way on the end of these corners and free kicks.

Thats my way of thinking and I'm hoping it's Tuchel. The whole football world would sit up and be amazed if we got him in.
