I think the January transfer market is too slow because nobody wants to show their hand too early. Clubs know we are desperate for a striker and Reed will never pay over the odds for anyone. Think it's going to drag until the last few days of the market which is a shame as we would of played something like 10 games in January alone.

Interested in Sakho too who has not played either. Look how long it has taken us to get Boufal up to scratch? Why can't we make a signing where they can walk into our team and help us reach another level. Everything is a gamble these days.

When you think about the goals we are not scoring anymore then you can see why we are struggling. Those Mane ones where he outpaces the last defender as slots it in the bottom corner (too many of his like that to mention) Then you have those great powerful headers from Pele plus the swivel/turn and bang out of the keepers reach. Jayrod has managed it just once at Bournemouth while Long has not done it once all season. The only two strikers goals we have scored other than Boufals vs Sunderland and Boro is Bertrand and Jayrod in the Bournemouth game. We fluff far too many chances as they are not clinical and composed anymore.

Striking the ball is a work of art and I can't understand why they have never brought in Le Tissier or Beattie to teach them. Our guys either lash it, Scuff it or just panic it and hit it at the keeper.

I think Forsters' problem is that he is no longer getting in any decent training at Staplewood because the striker can't hit **** all straight in training.

I reckon we are letting this one run on until the last few days of the transfer deadline which ends in January. Probably have agreed deals with Sakho and Gabbiadini but we can't agree a fee with Liverpool and Napoli. The back up plan would be the cheaper option which is Haller & god knows who for CB. I do recall us signing Mane and Alderwald on the last day a couple of years ago as many clubs like to play the market for more money.

Koeman's tactics vs Saints. If you have a goal scoring chance just get it on target, chances are it will go in. When they take a corner make sure the two tallest players stand at the front of the 6 yard box. Double up on Boufal and don't worry about Redmond let him go free. When they put Shane Long in at left wing don't laugh and pretend it's stretching us. Pump one in the box as our big lump will always out jump Fonte to score. Finally allow them to pass it sideways 30 times but make sure you get on the end of Forsters hoof at the end of it.

This time last year we were calling for Koeman's head and yet Puel has got us into a higher league position and a semi final. Is it really because the guy has no charm and can be boring to listen too?

A few things to mention, If we had won today then so many of you would be saying what a great manager Puel is. Okay we scored from a corner that was delivered short at the front post, why did we try the same tactic 6 times over. Dreadful open play crosses that are either over hit or floated.
