Okay we are going to lose Koeman but me as a fan of Saints does not know much about FdB, Emery and perhaps any other top European coach we might attract. Does anyone have any knowledge to lift the fans this evening? Emery - FdB -

I suppose one day it could go tits up if you keep doing it. It could of happened last season after that shocking run but luckily we turned it around.

Basically that's every manager bar Howe. Howe did the big manager chase when he went to Burnley from Bournemouth. He became homesick and realized he had made a big mistake. Any other manager is either going to be **** and sacked or good and stolen again.

Makes me laugh when you speak to other fans about our football club. We bring it on ourselves every summer with this **** that's going on.

I totally disagree with you I'm afraid. We have too many 'Koeman players' in our squad and the fear of them wanting out too. Just for once it would be nice to have a settled summer where we bring in players to improve us. IMHO Koeman could of got us a CL place next season.

It certainly looks positive reading that article. This is the bit that makes me laugh. (We are relaxed, just like Alberwald, Pottychino and Clyne) However, the Daily Echo understands that Saints at this stage remain relaxed about the reports, which come at a time when they are negotiating a potential contract extension with Koeman.

My review is Koeman has had his head turned by the stupid amount of money offered to him. He is happy with Saints but we can't match the 6/7m. No way is Reed going to let him go so this will drag on for a while longer. Everton will end up paying us compensation and then we start all over again for a new manager. IMHO I would no longer want Koeman if he wants to manage Everton although I don't blame him.

The criteria will be someone who will bring young players through, plays good attractive football and will make the current players even better. on top of that they will commit to a 6 year deal as they are a home boy. Eddie Howe ticks every box to work alongside Lee and Watson.

Could be the new direction we are taking with the Kbilly comments. Forster, Townsend, Bertrand, JWP, Taggart, Jayrod (if fit and scoring) and Chambers. If we reached the champions league then I guarantee you that most of these players would play for England if they featured well for Saints.

If we want to get more players in our team that are associated with the England national team then I say take Chambers and Townsend. Just think in two years time we could have 50% of the starting World Cup team?
