Totally agree that the bigger teams underperformed this season and I do think that trend can continue into next season. The players play too much football, We have the Euro's coming up plus champions league and coca cup etc. They have to rest some players which gives them an unsettled team. The likes of Saints and Leicester could put the same players out week in and week out from the start of January which is a luxury for the likes of Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool to name a few. I also think we need to work out why our team is so poor leading up to the xmas period, happens every time for some reason?

We lost a few players because pottychino was always going at the end of the season when he did. No way would Lallana, Chambers and Shaw wanted out like they did if he was committed. That same situation may happen next season If they know Koeman is not committed himself.

If Koeman did make it clear to Reed that he was not going to commit to a new contract, would it be better to get someone in this summer? After reading Guan's comments on taking a new direction? Could that be stability with someone like Howe or a new direction to push even higher up the league? Pellegrini or Jose? Whats your thoughts?

Hardly a stamp but Lamela knew what he was doing. At the end one tackle was pretty bad and I could not believe the official let play go on before another Chelsea player was mowed down 4 seconds later. Should easily of sent off both for dangerous tackles.

My top 5 things we need to address for next season. (1) Sort out why we are **** for 10 matches before and after xmas. (2) Get Townsend in if the toons go down. We were after him before and he would sort out the problem with our left and right flank if Tadic is having a bad period. (3) Steven Davis needs to become a squad player which means we need a decent energetic midfielder like Ross Barkley. (4) Tie down Wanayama and Mane as they are so important for us. (5) Get Charlie Austin fit. This could easily see us challenging for a champions league place.
