Watched Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United the last couple of days and I notice that they play a pass into spaces for their own players to run into which beats the marker and creates opportunities. We play passes to feet but then the opposition closes them down which results in a pass sideways or backwards. So it’s not kick and move it’s move and kick.

Currently on a splendid cruise at the moment so I have no idea what’s going on. To think we offered the job to Eddie Howe but Semmens pulled it because Ralph won two games and drew one. He thought we had turned a corner. Even some of our fans thought Howe was a big step back. Ha ha ha what a fuck up.

IMHO the key to our transfer window is how long it takes for Newcastle to bring in some players. I believe we are very interested in a couple of their players.

I actually disagree with this comment. Got the strongest bench in world football and he never even put on fresh legs to continue putting pressure on the French. I believe we had a strong interest in Woods from Newcastle but he is choosing to go elsewhere if the Toons get a new striker. Such a shame we never got Gakpo or Ramos but it’s good that our scouts team are recognising the talent out there. I personally think we will get a championship target player in as we are not an attraction for anyone because of our low league position and the unknown with Nathan Jones.

To be honest with you everyone knows we are in for a striker and another attacking type player. It’s not rocket science as we have been lacking badly in that department. I personally would like Woods from Newcastle who could be a available if the Toons spend big on a striker themselves.

When I watched the Blackpool vs Luton game last Saturday to see how good they were I saw some of the worse goal scrambles ever. Part of me fears our new management are not great at organising defences away from home.

Agree with most of the comments on here. Promising going forward as the players were braver rather than pass, pass, keeper BOOM. I reckon the players will have a weeks break and then back for a series of friendlies. My prediction, finish 12th as I reckon we have a gem in Nathan Jones.
