We need more than David Bentley to save us unless the other four are the rolypolys which should guard our goal!
-
Over the years it's been about the race for the champions, So that will be one of the games even if it's already been decided as they want people to see celebrations and happy faces. The other game will be the chase for 2nd place or the playoffs. No way are Sky interested in showing two struggling teams playing crap football is going to be an option if your looking to get some viewers tuning in.

IMHO I hope Forest are safe by then as they are playing very well. I fancy Norwich and Barnsley myself to be relegated!
-
Talking of radio, I was listening to a phone in on Hampshire radio about 7 it was when a bloke phoned up and called someone a *****! It was good listening at the time but I never quite knew who was being shouted down as it was a debate about whether this person was a season ticket holder or not. I think the guest on the show was called Nick??? Can anyone tell me more please? Also there was someone on that I know his face from his voice as he used to be Matty's number one fan, Is he using the name Weston Saint???

Wrong.... Wages 4k. The rest was made up with bonus and sponsorship! I once got a copy of Scott Marshall contract and sent it to that Richard Chorley bloke who then gave it to meridian. He was on 24k aweek which was a total joke.

Will they stop giving us hope as we don't deserve to stay up as the team are pants.
-
If someone wanted to take over us so badly then they would of done it over the last couple of years where they had no competition and only had to offer Rupert 50p a share. Why get involved in a bidding war with other supposing giants?
-
Its got nothing to do with us as his tie is white and red. What a shame as I really thought he was the chosen one.
-
I understand what Rupert setout to achieve on his return but to go into over budget mode and sell everything and bring in 2 unknown managers (with an increasing backstaff it seemed every few months) was a result of thousands of fans missing which IMHO is the best way to get money into a club.
-
I would luv it if someone said 'We are playing **** and we are dreading the trip to that ****hole' Might get a result that way? :-)
-
I see Souness has thrown his weight behind a bid too. Not sure If I would prefer him over the BBC one?

You are a star Baj! I was sat in my bath listening to it on my Iphone. What an invention. Btw I know one serious bid and thats from a Gilbrator (not sure if that is how you spell the country) consortium,, Will post more later I hope. -
I would rather do the text as the other option always make me feel worse after about 85 minutes ;-)

I know someone who had a drink with Guy Askham on Saturday as he was watching his son play at Lymington. Anyway Guy was saying that we have so many people interested in buying the club but the ground debt is what was stopping them. If the council can help solve that issue then someone will snap us up asap and that Rupert would not step in the way. Haha too late now Mr Askham you buffoon!
-
To be honest Rupert and Wilde had to come back because they had to protect what money they had left! However what knob would think that getting a nobody in to run the team and off load some good players would be the way to do it. What Rupert does not understand is that him being anywhere near our club has resulted in 10k fans staying away which partly points the finger at me as well but at least I have the pleasure to know that Lowe has lost the ****ing lot. We will rise from the ashes and I will be back with the missing thousands, Mark my words. Lowe - Rot In Hell

I love that hung over feeling you get on news years day when Saints go to Stamford bridge and beat Chelski 4-2 then you would turn on talksport and listen to Big Lawrie gloat all night. Those are the days I miss :-(
-
When teams are fighting for there lives they will produce some amazing results. I personally think that 5 wins from the 8 will be our only hope. Too many times we are seeing teams get freak results where we can't seem to manage that at all, Wolves for one? It will be like Brum, Oh so close but NIL points yet again!
-
Bored of winning now :-(

Bring the Caps out for Bally - Burnley (H) 25/04
Pilchards replied to Channon's Sideburns's topic in The Saints
At last a great idea to unite the fans. I will never forget the Kachoul, Marsden and Benali ones as they was legends days out. -
I too posted something on this forum regarding comments made by Herby and he was not happy at all although I praised him to the hilt in my article. (I would contact him m8) Anyway its great to hear how the team are working as a unit and lets hope its not too late because all teams at the bottom intend to do the same thing at this time of the season.

Was Lowe a lot closer to being right than we give him credit for?
Pilchards replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
We always at this stage of the season start playing better. (1) The players finally care? (2) Playing for new contracts? Maybe it's because we have the right structure at last but we will still make the same mistakes next season! I reckon on the last 10 games of the season in the last 10 years we would be in the top 25 of the whole country. -
Who does not hold a licence, Haha you could not make it up.
-
Stamina is the answer to this game! No good going 1-0 up and conceding in the last ten minutes yet again. (prays for a bloody home win)
-
Right then..Who will do the job other than lowe

Oops me bad! Called working nights and bring **** for brains. Btw Well said Um and Daren. Just think a new change and the missing 10,000 fans back and I would even say 26k for division one games.
