Then Russell steps up and claps to give Charles some encourage and then does a downward motion to say stay calm. It’s not Russell Martins fault. The club hired him the same way it hired Selles and Jones. We would not of been in this mess today if we showed a little more ambition by getting in a decent manager that knows how to improve players. I personally rate it as a bloody good window. Latvia’s transfer alone almost paid for all those coming in. Yes we have some bloated squad players they couldn’t shift but I can see us winning many games and let’s be honest it should be by 3 clear goals. Get some of those bloated players coming off the bench to raise their transfer value for January. Got some cracking players coming in that know this league very well plus we have what could be a real goal scorer when Ross is ready. Also I have a feeling the captain for today will be Downes as he looks like a more natural leader that our Jack.

Heard that were in for a Brighton squad player now Fati has signed. No idea of the name or if it’s happening now especially that it seems that some players are now staying because the value set was not offered.

This is my last post as my 3 is up. I said last week that Mara and Adams are planning to be leaving if we had suitable offers. In fact it looks like it was us that were offering them to clubs in the end because they don’t want anyone at the club that don’t want to be there anymore. Everyone has a price on their heads and many actually reached the target they wanted. 6 out from now and 4 in as I repeated last weekend. I have a great source That makes it 21 players out in total which I was told in May. PS and yes Wilcox is a genius if he pulls it off as it looks like we have a better team to challenge for the title plus maintain it in the EPL next season.

In the premiership we did for sure, That VVD threw his toys out but we got top dollar in the end so it was a win win for us. Now we are a championship team it’s much harder. Smallbone turned down an offer of 3 times his wages to stay with us BUT the club who put these terms through to his agent never made a good enough offer for the club to accept. Would things be different if Sheff Utd offered us 22m for him?!?

If you stop allowing players to leave and they start to hand in transfer requests etc then it’s going to make a new player think twice about joining us. We attract loads of great young talent to this club because we sell them on at a profit. It opens the door to attract even more.

Well written piece and I totally agree. My only concern is when reaching the premiership I don’t want to rebuild the team again. When we got promoted last time we had a settled squad of players who knew each others game really well. I think we finished 10th that season with some fine team performances.

I’ve been absolute spot on with everything I’ve said since May. Looking forward to our new striker if the club can shift Mara. Fucking Mara who’s shit! Adams is a gonna as he won’t sign a contract.

Tella was in tears when we shipped him out. Some of the ladies in the kit team had to confront him. So yes he owe us nothing and deep down he’s making a good career move. BTW Alcarez was the player that had changed his mind about leaving. Hoping that seeing all these guys leaving doesn’t sway him to think again?

Saints playing a risky game allowing our better players to leave now clubs are closely matching the prices we set. I personally expect Tella, Adams to leave and surprisingly Smallbone if someone comes back with an improved offer. Still say 21 players out which means many loan deals to slash the wage bill. PS Piroe, what a fuck up because Everton messed us about with Adams as he had to be sold first before replacing. No idea who’s gonna come in but strikers win games and get teams promoted.
