Ankerson attends an event in which my source also attends and this is why I get this information which I sometimes share with you. A previous event Ankerson was so open about Nathan Jones and told him he loves the way he gets the team playing together and that is why we approached him last summer but he declined. Wasn’t ready was his reply but Saints went back in again for him but IMHO was he ready then? Did we rush the second approach in a panic as clearly Jones wasn’t ready as it turned out. Obviously that was last October/November (can’t remember when Jones came in) IMHO the reason why it never worked after watching last nights Luton game was because the lazy cunts at our football club wouldn’t work hard enough. It started well when Nathan got here as I heard the players liked him but things turned. I have no idea why but probably was because they never respect a small time Charlie that wanted to get the best out of a team. Read rumours on this chat that players turned up late and the great Strachan saying things like when you’re winning you are never injured. When losing they drop like a pack of cards. I put it down to lack of fitness personally (being unfit does give you more niggles) The Luton team yesterday would have run rings around our guys. They hunted in packs and dived in every tackle. We apparently tried to get a temp manager in around about 5/6 weeks ago who was an ex player. Told fans would love it but this never happened, no idea why? Anyway moving on Ankerson has been talking up Carrick to my source saying he loves the way Boro play and respects what he has done in the game so far. Will certainly want to have him coaching at this club if opportunities come along. Couldn’t speak high enough of him according to my source as he was the only manager on his lips. Ankerson still talks like he is very much in the frontline to have a say in the next managerial appointment (when my source told me 5/6 weeks ago) and I’m trying to find a link between Carrick and Wilcox as apparently there is one. If Ankerson has now taken a back seat (according to the Saints Web) then I’m delighted as it means Wilcox has the full running of the club but don’t always be sure as Ankerson is a very strong opinionated person and my source told me he won’t sit in the background if ever you met him.

I think that might be the key. Akpom and Tella would rip that division.

Soon find out if Rasmus no 1 choice Carrick will come to Saints. Got the playoffs semi finals on Weds. PS Rasmus has more power in the next manager choice over Wilcox, just saying!!

I don’t have it first hand but I know that we will need to sell at least 12 players as our squad is bloated. Need to make room for our youngsters otherwise you can wave goodbye to many promising ones as they are not happy.

The reason why these players are shit is because nobody has coached them properly and the whole club for the last few season is rotting at the core. Put 90% of these players in a better team and they wouldn’t be so bad. So my vote is not the players but the whole fucking management from the very TOP downwards.

Thank fuck for that. Now put the youngsters in the squad for the next two matches and watch them run around and play for the shirt. Brings me hope for the future having some great talent at the club.

This guy is much more aggressive than his Dad. I used to remember him as a dull boycott type player. I reckon Fletchy could go on and play test cricket for England once he finds his feet more.

It’s a brain fart tactic to put an already low on confidence player doing two roles that he was never comfortable with. The quicker we get a decent manager in the better. These players have no direction and in training I can only wonder if they are scratching their own heads half of the time.

If nobody buys him then we are stuck with him. it’s okay making Adams your number 1 next season but if we got promoted then he’s going to struggle to score in the top league AGAIN. He too slow and has a brain fart in front of goal too often.

Akpom and Carrick double for me next season. Put Tella and him together with Ballard sharing the bench duties with either Adams/Mara.

Whoever the next manager is that’s coming in will have a mega chest to start with plus a half decent squad of players. Gone will be JWP, Latvia for starters but that’s 80m right there! Get the right guy in and let him run the football things while keeping Ankerson a million miles away. Onwards and upwards.

It’s okay naming most of the current team in for next season but remember if we make it back up up again they will struggle. It needs a whole rebuild and the momentum to take you up the leagues like we did with Lallana, Fonte and Lambert etc.

I’m hoping they downsize the shit squad and promote at least 5 youngsters for next season so it would open the pathway again for those guys. Nothing better than your very own doing well for the club.

Bet JWP becomes a regular now for England if he went there. Thats the bolloxs of Southgate just like when Phillips went to City.

Our buying is no worse than Chelsea so I’m not sure Potter would want to work under our owners that love a bloated squad. Such a shame we dont have 3 keen, energetic youngsters ready to come off the bench these days rather than the usual crap we have brought on all season.

It’s not about who we get next but more about what those around the next manager do next. Look at Potter, damn good manager but at Chelsea he never had a say in any player as the owner just brought in one player after another. Same for us and Cooper at Forest. A manager should build a small squad and mix it with some youth players from the academy. That’s where we need to go again and stop this stupid wasting money on defender, wingers and strikers who have bloated the squad.
