Took my ex wife to a Saints game for the first time. Played West Ham in a night cup game and the ref kept giving them most of the decisions. The ex stood up after another decision went against us and shouted ‘Ref did you come off the oppositions coach?’ I grabbed her and pulled her down with embarrassment, everyone in the archers laughed. PS that was her last game as I never took her again.

(1) Wore a Saints shirt at the 2003 cup final with ‘RIX 15 and under’ on the back. (2) Dressed up as a Saints version of John Westwood and wore it to Fratton with a big fish on the hat. Took it off when a brick missed me by inches. PS the train station to Fratton was the best journey ever! (3) Took a replica FA cup to the DJ stand at Bristol nightclub and stood up to lift it in front of loads of Saints fans who travelled up before Cardiff. TOP NIGHT (4) On the travel coach journey coming back from a London match I stupidly put up a message to coach 2 which was directed at the secretary of the club. Rightly he threaten to twat me when we got to the dell supporters club 😕

Because Drago well overspent in trying to keep the club in the premiership. I expect he wants some of his funds back, simple as that really. This is second guessing but the likes of replacing JWP with Grimes is something like £90k in wages a WEEK! I expect the club had also come away from what Southampton FC was all about and that’s giving the youngsters a chance. Hoping personally we give the likes of Ballard and Doyle a chance as they excite me more seeing coming off the bench second half.

Not posted for a while. I was laughed at when posting on the 29th of May that every player is free to go if suitable offers come in. (I accidentally said fire sale but corrected myself straight away) They wanted a total overhaul of players as the squad was bloated plus many want out. 21 players out was the target back in May! A couple of weeks from now we will see almost every decent player moving on. The market is finally moving forward as teams seek replacements from the bigger transfers that have happened recently. Heard we have a few good players coming in but don’t expect to be challenging for promotion this season as this is a longer term plan to regroup for a better chance to stay in the premiership for the nearer future. This is why they went for Russell Martin as there was less expectations from him. I still personally think it’s a shit appointment. I always knew JWP was going only if a suitable offer came in as he was no longer interested in the championship, would of gone earlier as the agreement in his new contract he signed a few years back was that he could go if a top club made a suitable offer. (100% know this as I have a different contact that knows JWP very well as he sponsors their Portsmouth based team) The last game of last season was suppose to be his farewell but nobody other than WHU wanted him. Finally I was told just recently that Jason Wilcox is doing a fantastic job and very much has 100% control in everything. My personal fears were Ankerson would never take a step back but it seems Drago has taken more interest in what’s going on as he probably stopped trusting Ankerson with his money. Wilcox has attracted interest from a few clubs as they are watching his progress.

Good job you’re not a Spurs fan otherwise you would have torched the new stadium by now. Whet a mess that Levy is!

You have to remember he needs a holiday too. I expect he’s already on the scene doing some things but it’s better to contact players when they are not in Ibiza downing tequilla’s

Maybe he’s on holiday like the players are. Not sure what he can do if he can’t chat to the players saying whether he wants them gone or not etc. Personally would rather have the club announcing players to return by the 25th of June when the new boss is ready to start from fresh.

None of our players are shit. They have been managed incorrectly and as a team their confidence is rock bottom. With the right management staff they will be flying again. Look what Emery did for Villa? Went from relegation certainties to almost getting in Europe.

Ignore the fire sale comment but every player will be free to go at a price. Wait and see us sell/loan 21 players this window.

My fears are Drago is putting them all up for a fire sale. Recoup what he put into the club and rebuild from scratch with an average manager. That way no pressure on him as the expectations won’t be great. Personally he don’t give a fuck about us fans but more about getting himself more money. Lets see how this pans out? * Ignore the fire sale bit as he wouldn’t sell any player at half price but every player is free to go if we get a good offer.

What about absolute fucking shit? Infact let’s go back two years that we have been truly shocking. I think coming out of lockdown certainly hit the players.

One shit manager replacing another shit manager. I’m sorry but the more I research and read about our new incoming manager the more I’m puzzled what the board see in him. They just can’t stop making fucks ups!!

Reckon he will be back with Saints in the future as a manager. Level headed, got the right attitude and clearly will always love the club. Just wish people would stop giving him a hard time on here due to having shit managers coaching him which stopped his development further.

That’s a silly question because anyone realistic is possible if you sell the project to them and pay them decent wages. Worked out we bought 100m worth of useless players last season. A half decent manager would of got better results out of the current squad even without wasting that 100m. I would also go as far as saying that ask any Saints fan three weeks ago who you would like to take over as the manager fur Saints. Martin would not be in anyone’s top 30 of realistic targets. Its a stupid gamble by Ankerson who’s proving to us that he has Drago by the balls with yet another pathetic managerial appointment. ps 3rd post and out.

Plus his statistic which are nothing great. I actually enjoyed our two years in the championship a few years back and imho I’m glad we are back there again. I just wish we had a decent leader to enjoy the experience again like we had with Adkins.

Back to the keeper who then hoofs it up field to the opposition. Its the most pathetic passing pattern which Saints are guilty of most. Anyway moving on now. The more I think of this manager appointment the more I’m beginning to think…… WHY?!? It’s a shit appointment and after watching that video of him talking to the players. Ha ha honestly he couldn’t motivate our bunch of lazy cunts.

The reason why Brighton found it easy against our midfielders and defenders is because they are useless, unfit, lack of confident and basically shit. Every team in the last 15 games have carved them in half time and time again. Are we going to be good at possession football? Yes very much if you can count the defenders passing it to the keeper and back. Other than that they don’t have the players capable of doing it unless we have a total overhaul which would again be madness to go with this pathetic manager choice for next season.

I remember Hoddle used to win many games 1 - 0 and the performances were not that great. However we kept winning and the dell used to be rocking. I personally don’t care about the football either as I just want this team to win games for a change. It’s been 2 years of non stop loses and it’s drained the players plus the fans.

Only interested in who comes off the bench. Will start watching from 70 minutes.

Just to show you how important it is to get the right manager. Darren Ferguson puts two defenders on vs Weds when losing 2 nil. Peterborough never had anymore attacks second half as they invited Weds to bombard them which they did.

None I hope as they are shit with the wrong mind set. Fresh faces with some youngsters promoted and regroup to come back up in two years time. Then we will hold our own in the premiership.

I like Mckenna as Ipswich do play good football. My problem with taking an unknown like we did with Mad Nat is the more established players don’t respond to them very well. Its either we kick out the big billybolloxs players like Stu Armstrong, Bednarek, KWP, Adams etc and start afresh like we did with Adkins many years ago.

What a fucking game. This City team are sensational so far. Cant remember the last time I enjoyed watching a game like this.
