It’s a mystery why we never offered the job to Carrick. I know Ankerson raved about Carrick at a golf function when Nathan Jones was our manager. I expect he’s no longer trusted after appointing the mad one. As for Tonda, not beating the skates with their 4 best players out and playing a system of pumping the ball long everytime does not sit with me. Because Wellington was the only decent left sided player but had to stay back most of the time which meant we starved Leo from getting any service. Sports Republic wanted to appoint Gary O’Neill as our new manager but the fans protested which caused them to panic and employ Eckert instead. Seriously would O’Neill do any worse than the current useless cunt? I doubt he would be the yes man and continue playing the Sports Republic 5 at the back nonsense.

I wonder how all the other managers feel after being interviewed. Probably used as it was always going to be Tonda. What a serious big mistake they’ve made and this appointment allows them to dictate on what formation and players that the manager puts on the pitch as it’s the Southampton MODEL.

Ha ha I know the head of marketing in Southampton for P&O but I can’t be bothered to ask as it’s no big deal.

I’m delighted with Will. Think the club has pulled one out the bag here. We will see players working hard on the football field and using their brains for once with a game plan. My biggest fears will always be that Will needs to be the main person and not have a small role to play. As for Rohl, if he thinks he can do better elsewhere then good luck with it. He wants to go to a club with his coaching team and I do believe that’s partly why he turned us down as we refused to pay the price.

Will Still is a coaching genius on paper, not a fitness expert or someone who teaches players to cross, shoot or pass etc. We need those people around Will to make it happen. I just pray he has a major saying in what players to bring in and sell plus all the other things a coach is suppose to do.

I mentioned last week about a twist. Will Still nearly never signed after being told he was to work with a team Spor are setting up for him. Seriously are you telling me he wanted to come here without at least one of his brothers. I reckon they are trying to keep Lallana in a coaching role to work with Will.

Clearly offered Rohl the job, not sure if it was down to the compensation but I agree we need to move on especially with him stalling. The more I read about Will Still the more impressed I am but the important thing is he’s allowed to bring his own players in and not the shit Sports Republic get.
