They’re favourites? Seriously we have a better home record now, Only UTD and CITY have beaten us recently and it was very close. We also had a full day and a half to prepare for this game while West Ham have another game on Friday.

Sign him in January means you have to pay all his wages. In the summer he will be a free agent and then you offer him a take or leave 2 year contract. That’s the best he will get anywhere.

Not sure why as he makes every tackle, every header and most of our impressive balls from the back. You would never sell your best defender during mid season plus on the first offer. Maybe next summer someone will bid 70m for him which we will take.

Totally agree, the right flank is producing so many options while the left creates lots of puff before it gets turned back again.

Che and Kwp were indeed brilliant. We had too many passengers last night. Armstrong and Ings had a shocker! I’m noticing more and more that Bertrand is not getting down the left flank like KWP is. Think we are losing that option we used to have. Another thing we need to focus on is free kicks into our area, we are giving free headers most of the time.

I know where you are coming from as nobody is talking about us at all. Its great they are not as we won’t have any pressure on us. The thing that gets me is all those games we lost we shouldn’t have. Theo should of made it 2-0 at Wolves. At Palace the keeper made two worldie saves, We were suicide second half vs Spurs, Utd we should never lose a 2 goal lead. We could be 6 points clear as it’s a crazy season so far. Fimally it only takes JWP or Vestergaard to get a bad injury and we could have a struggle.

Some great comments and it’s brilliant when the other team never let you play well. Romeu I thought was MOM although Vestergaard was quality too. I think Armstrong needs a rest personally as he’s not been the same since that Covid scare. Hoping for another 3 points this weekend too which should be possible.

Tough game. Knew we would not play great football after the first 15 minutes as Wolves shut down the supply from Romeu and JWP. Thought Che did well while Armstrong should of come off around 80 minutes plus Long was useless. Only on the pitch for his heading ability IMHO.

We are finally starting to turnaround our pathetic home form. 1-0 City 1-1 Brighton 3-1 Sheff Utd 2-5 Spurs (although we smashed them first half) 2-0 WBA 2-0 Everton 2-0 Newcastle. 5W 1D 1L I personally think part of the turnaround is having no stress from the fans as Ralph has mentioned. We often groan when the players pass side ways and back to McCarthy. It’s good witnessing and reading the article on why they do it as they are drawing the opposition players towards the ball to create space. The longer we stay away the better IMHO.

Find it amazing that three of those 8 games we have conceded 11 goals. You would think that’s relegation form.

It’s crazy how Everton, Villa and Newcastle say they played poorly against us. When you have a team playing delightful one touch football plus hunting in packs you ain’t going to get a chance to play your A game. We are slowly starting to get the respect from some fans as I’ve been viewing on the opposition forums for the last two weeks and they love our style and identity.
