Then all of a sudden we all merge together and it all quietens down. A bunch of softies the lot of us. Reminds me of a video I saw of Saints fans rattling a fence to get at the Pompey fans. The fence collapse to the surprise of the Saints fans and you could see them trying to put it back up

Tadic had his shooting boots on while Lemina run the midfield with pure grit and determination. That save by McCarthy 3 minutes in injury time was truly awesome. A fantastic 3 points and well done every supporter who sung their hearts out.

I feel sorry for the many managers we’ve had as whatever team we put out several individuals choose to have a crap game. Lemina and Romeu have been a menace in midfield but right now they are just weak as a pair. Defence is all over the place as Hoedt keeps falling over, Stephen’s powder puff while Yoshida sometimes has a shocker. Then you look at Boufal, ha ha a dancing pansy with the woeful Redmond and JWP. The only hope we have is when Tradic turns up as he makes us tick. With all these poor players together you need to find the solution as to why they are all so bad and the answer lies with whoever bloody well spent 100m+ Reed, I think your time is up.

Having three centrebacks does allow us to put Cedric and Bertrand on the overlap like we did very well against Chelsea in the home game. The biggest problem is their crossing, The amount of overhit crosses is a joke.

I think Hughes will stick with the starting line up vs Chelsea when we played them at home. The team had the right balance for once. Obviously Stephens can come back in but leave the young Polish guy in as he has done well recently. My biggest problem is some players are better impact players than others when coming off the bench. Redmond, Tadic and Boufal are often game changers while Long, JWP and Davis are not.
