I think Hughes will stick with the starting line up vs Chelsea when we played them at home. The team had the right balance for once. Obviously Stephens can come back in but leave the young Polish guy in as he has done well recently. My biggest problem is some players are better impact players than others when coming off the bench. Redmond, Tadic and Boufal are often game changers while Long, JWP and Davis are not.

Almost like he set this game up for the semi final. I'm puzzled why we have given up as swapping Long for Austin is inviting Leicester to attack us in which they did. Truly shocking.

I was lucky to have the opportunity to watch Saints training this morning at Staplewood. Mark Hughes set up 4 cones in the penalty area and he challenged the defenders to stay close to the cones while JWP was whipping in crosses from the right. Cone number 1 scored twice while cone 3 scores once. Pretty embarrassing to watch really :/

We’ve been let down for transport for the semi final and I’m playing catch up for information. My options? travel club, what time does it leave and will I have time for a few beers? Train, What are the costs and do I just turn up? Independent coach? Is anyone taking any up this year as I remember how good they used to be. Any other way I can go but we do t have a car. On Sunday I visited a Taekwondo club for my students to train at and I got talking to the owner. He has a Cryotheraphy chamber that he hires out for top sports stars in the region as it’s a popular option instead of ice baths. Anyway he told me Southampton football club were one of the first clubs that used this but stopped it three years ago. Over 85% of the top clubs in the country have them now and they are very expensive too. Why have we stopped using them I wonder?
