Someone needs to clatter Sturridge
-
That video just proves the lengths some of the fishy few will go to to prove absolutely nothing at all. Pathetic.
-
So Fonte won't be playing. Great. The one thing we need right now is a solid defence and the problem at right back makes this injury more of a problem than it should be. I will ****ing hate it if we don't beat the bindippers and especially nivea****
-
Tbh I would rather see another right back. I can't work out if we have a major problem in that position or if new players need time to get used to the PL however it's costing us points and I would. Rather we just signed a player who play the position every week and have done with it
-
Not really since this thread is generated by the elevated actions of the fishy few down the road. I'm also currently considering how this thread would look if it did achieve sentience and lead an independent life. How many teeth and toes would it have?
-
Wasn't Einstein who said that the definition of insanity was doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting a different result?
-
Surely not....... But then that would mean several things..... Not least of which would be giving this thread a new (hilarious) lease of life.......
-
Oh wait hang on I'm forgetting 250 bajillion of the worlds bestest fans who all managed to squeeze onto Southsea common will dig into their pockets once more and save the bestest ever football club
-
Stupid thread. The only problem with Yoshi is that he shouldn't be playing right back. Nothing wrong with him playing in his normal position, and in fact I would go as far to say that he has improved massively and is starting to show it.

They definitely aren't making it easy for themselves. If they don't do it this season, I wonder what it will cost them because they must have broken what little money pot they have to get promotion this season. Correct me if I'm wrong (and I'm sure that more financially minded among us will confirm) but I do believe that promotion this season is an absolute must otherwise they will struggle once more to pay bills. They can't develop their infrastructure properly now that the stadium has been landlocked and the money available at League Two level surely can't be enough to allow them to maintain a team and also pay for the improvements needed to the kipper shed just to keep it at a bare minimum standard. I also think it's safe to say that there's going to be a fair amount of head scratching on here if they don't manage it along the line of 'how the f*ck did they manage that?', coupled with a lot of laughter.

I shall think kindly of you in this life. Your reward shall be in heaven my child.

HOUSE! Ta muchly
-
And seriously, the hope for promotion (and the hope to avoid the playoffs) must be absolutely killing them right now
-
Come on I need someone to say it was a cup final for Wycombe and the game was too big for the ref so I can claim a full house on buzzword bingo
-
I really stupidly ridiculously want us to win this. However if we don't sort out right back and the standard of passing I think the bindippers are going to win.
-
Welp. Wish we had a right back.
-
Of course if they had a modern ground with properly trained stewards this would never be an issue.
-
Sorry my givea****-o-meter appears to be broken and stuck on zero. Oh no sorry, that's an accurate reading
-
I need to get over the fact that I am always surprised that we never seem to be able to beat Stoke in decent fashion. It's always either a dull game with one goal in it or we struggle Like hell to break them down.
-
It won't be if they gave Champagne Ian the stake money to go down Ladbrokes. He'll have spent it in the nearest pub (which definitely appears to be the source of their team)
-
Surely you aren't suggesting that the dirty dirty skates haven't learned their lesson and have continued to spend like they are at the post Christmas sales despite the fact that they don't have as much money coming in and no super rich sugar daddy to pay the bills? It kind of reminds me of the gambling addict who, having lost everything, keeps on placing that one last bet because 'this is it lads, this is the big one that's definitely going to win'
-
But surely the finances are absolutely fine now?
-
'Cauldron of passion' That's a new one. Brings to mind TWCTB providing to the halftime entertainment by interfering with his sistermum in the centre circle, roared on by at least three of the mostest passionatest evar, at least of whom is banging on a drum with absolutely no rythmn.

Got to love the 'wind assisted goals' comment. What a silly thing to say

Tbh Glen, the fact that you were so close with your prediction just shows how terrible a manager Hodgson is. I've long argued that his brief is to deliver mediocrity without risk and every match we play just confirms it. I'm also very amused how the media are slightly more muted about the unbeaten run the national side had qualifying for the Euro's once we played a friendly against a quality side and were shown up to be ****** poor on most areas of the pitch.. As for the Owl faced numpties decision to call up Lingard - never has the obvious policy of only selecting from the top four clubs been more clearly demonstrated.
