  1. It really was a poor squad. If I'd have known what god awful decisions SR would make since I'd never have called for Ralph to go when he did. Although he wouldn't have lasted anyway because he'd clearly run out of energy for the job here. Also not sure he's the SR puppet kind of guy.
  2. What's the need for analysts when Tonda doesn't change anything? All feels a bit pointless.
  3. Hopefully our players walk off the pitch in the first minute on Wednesday so we don't have to put up with more turgid shite.
  4. The defence is pretty shit (even then he's picking the more shit players) but other than that he, like Still is massively underachieving. Who in their right mind plays the divisions best winger as a wing back? Why is Scienza basically playing as a central midfielder? How on earth does he keep picking Manning? Brilliant decisions on Saturday. Brings on Stewart who is good from crosses but takes off Fellows who is the best crosser in the team. I mean WTF!? A cardboard cut out would inspire me more than this bloke.
  5. I've said this a couple of times. Got shot down by people claiming "it was just a bit of banter". It was a fucking weird thing to do. Clearly not banter either given the way he's played and behaved since.
  6. Previously I'd have said no to Ralph coming back but given our current state I would certainly take him. No chance it would ever happen with SR in place though. He wouldn't take any shit, plays 4 at the back and isn't fixated on passing the ball backwards and sideways for 90 minutes.
  7. The fans won't because the majority are soft as fuck. The amount of people clapping yesterday was a joke.
  8. Whilst Coventry have done really well the league isn't great this season at all. You've got Millwall, Preston, Hull and Stoke all in and around the play offs. They've all got tiny budgets compared to us. The difference is they've got players that care and that are being managed correctly. I also doubt they continuously wank over xG and a data spreadsheet.
  9. He just looks so uninspiring stood on that touch line. Much like Will Still. No personality, no instruction, no passion and no idea.
  10. He started the season playing crap. Had a purple patch before Tonda was made permanent and now he's gone back to playing crap again. He hides when things get tough like so many of them. He needs to be part of a big reset.
  11. Oh O'Neil isn't anything special and wasn't my first choice but he'd certainly be more inspiring than Tonda is. It hasn't taken us long to turn on Tonda so wouldn't be a huge difference on that front.
  12. The ironic thing is if they'd have paid out for a decent manager in the first place it would've saved them a bit of money from firing a load.
  13. It really became apparent under Juric. For all his faults I like the way he called out Downes and how unfit the players were.
  14. They went for the easy option. Saw the majority of the fans were against it and Tonda started winning games. I would've respected them more for appointing O'Neil to be honest.
  15. I'd imagine so. Charles (hasn't signed a new deal yet, so not looking good) and Scienza for sure.
  16. Peretz, Jelert, THB, Quarshie, Welington, Bragg, Charles, Matsuki, Fellows, Scienza, Stewart. Lots of changes needed.
  17. There are a core of players who I've just had enough of. Downes, THB, Wood, Stephens, Manning, Bazunu, Aribo, Bree, Fraser, Archer. I'd probably replace Armstrong at the end of the season too. We need to build the squad around players like Charles, Jander, Fellows, Scienza and Quarshie (yes I think we should persevere with him).
  18. He's quite the opposite to Manning in the fact he's actually probably too aggressive. But I'd prefer that to a player who constantly stands off like Manning does. Oh and he isn't lazy and doesn't always pass it backwards. So yes whilst he's not great he is certainly a better option in this division.
  19. Agreed. It'll be good for his confidence, he seems like a good guy, just not very good at goalkeeping. Just shows though what a pathetic defence we have as well though.
  20. As everyone could have predicted.
  21. It's a real shame because he's clearly a decent goalscorer.
  22. We are much more stable with 3 at the back remember...
  23. Why is that a good thing? Hull are depleted. Coventry were depleted. It matters not a jot.
  24. Is he the worst left back we've had? Don't get me wrong we've had some shit ones but he is just lazy, wasteful, has terrible awareness, positioning is awful, can't tackle and can't head the ball as he constantly makes a back for attackers. Thoughts?
  25. Tbh we are probably worse now than we were under Still. And that really takes some doing.
