  1. A lot of people think Moyes is unrealistic, but if he wants to get back into management asap then I don't see there being many jobs up for grabs given Leicester and Wolves have already changed their managers. Palace are now picking up as expected and Ipswich wouldn't sack McKenna.
  2. Indeed. TAA, Kelleher, Nunez, Gakpo, Elliott, Gomez, Macallister, Jota. All are/have been regular first team players. It clearly wasn't their strongest line up but the side they put out was still very good.
  3. First half was way too passive but that was understandable. Second half was much better and there's signs of life in this side (with the right managerial appointment)
  4. There are clearly fitness issues
  5. No the players used to get the two days after the game off. Play on Saturday = Sundays and Mondays off. Ridiculous.
  6. There were some "fun" games at home. Blackburn, Swansea, Wednesday etc but so many of our away games were very mundane against generally poor opposition.
  7. Yep, I certainly wouldn't want to be playing as a DM in a Russell Martin side.
  8. What a pleasant surprise.
  9. Trying the same thing with Rohl as they did with Martin then and that ended up being pretty messy!
  10. It certainly wasn't as good as the championship promotion season under Adkins.
  11. What's a shot?
  12. Hjulmand is known for his possession based football. Goody! To be honest I don't mind it, as long as it's not at the extreme levels of Russball.
  13. https://x.com/asmarcatr/status/1868689603395530821?t=JFMjj4w86OIjFoXQmh2-YA&s=19 Jesus, surely this isn't true. If it is, it's got Ankersen written all over it 😂
  14. Armstrong being vice-captain is another ridiculous decision made by Martin.
  15. I'd be happy with Rohl.
  16. At least the poster is credible.
  17. Not sure, certainly wasn't anywhere near as bad as it was with Jones.
  18. He should never have been there. Who's fault that is, who knows. I thought he handled the questions quite well given the awkward situation.
  19. Tonight was the first time I've had the feeling that the players have stopped playing for him.
  20. Well, the atmosphere will be better. That's a positive for a start. Even if we lose every game it's an improvement.
  21. Sorry I don't buy that. Why continue with Martin when it can't get any worse? Every game will just be toxic. Just put Calderwood or Lallana in charge FFS.
  22. Bad look really. That ego of his has taken a battering tonight. Should at least go and clap/apologise to the fans, even if he's getting pelters.
  23. Whooooosh
  24. It's been a brave second half and I think the whole city should be proud of it.
