Indeed. TAA, Kelleher, Nunez, Gakpo, Elliott, Gomez, Macallister, Jota. All are/have been regular first team players. It clearly wasn't their strongest line up but the side they put out was still very good.

First half was way too passive but that was understandable. Second half was much better and there's signs of life in this side (with the right managerial appointment)

There are clearly fitness issues

No the players used to get the two days after the game off. Play on Saturday = Sundays and Mondays off. Ridiculous.

There were some "fun" games at home. Blackburn, Swansea, Wednesday etc but so many of our away games were very mundane against generally poor opposition.
