Was class today in the last 5 minutes. Fair play to the lad.
-
Based on your second paragraph, I can see a comfortable 3-0 win for Plymouth.
-
Injury prone and suspect positionally. Still, he'd be very good in this league. Can't see his head or heart being in it though.
-
Surely we are now in a position where we cannot sell our better players without having a replacement in the building beforehand...🫣
-
Wonder what RM will think if we don't see many incomings. Supposedly came here for a project then we don't spend any money!
-
I must admit the lack of links to incoming players is slightly worrying. I know things can happen fast but if we do want Piroe no doubt we are gonna have to pay more than anyone else because of the RM fiasco with Swansea. Let's just hope Saints are prepared for that.

It's tomorrow morning at 8.30

Safe to say you're not his biggest fan. Don't get me wrong, his finishing is poor but he certainly isn't "fucking shit".
-
Doesn't look like he's going to sign/be fit for Saturday then. The worry for me is that neither Alcaraz or Armstrong seem to be able to last a whole match (Alcaraz did last week but looked pretty leggy by the end). Plus I'm not sure I fancy S.Armstrong in CM in a tricky away game. Could be goals galore again on Saturday.
-
Having watched McCarthy on Tuesday night against League Two opposition I'm not sure I agree.
-
Should probably ask about urgency of transfers in CM now Smallbone is out for months. We look incredibly light in that department.
-
It is an absolute stonewall penalty. Clear cheating/bias going on here.
-
Definitely a shout for MOTM along with Cunha, who apart from his miss looked very good indeed.
-
Shame that he's gone and I wish him well but certainly won't lose any sleep over it. I expect him to beat the free kick record but doubt he will get back into the England squad. I also think West Ham will struggle this season. Would be great if we went straight back up and they got relegated (doubtful but you never know)

Romeo Lavia - Official: Signs for Not Liverpool
Harry_SFC replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
Personally think Lavia is making the right call. Poch is a brilliant coach and will certainly improve him. Lavia, Caicedo and Enzo is an incredible midfield trio. -
Agreed. Admittedly it's only from Videos but I do like the look of Vyner from Bristol City. He's 6 ft 2, looks good on the ball and likes a tackle.
-
Well the Eredivise would be a step up... The Belgian Pro League is even worse!
-
I mean if Smallbone is out then no way will he play S.Armstrong in there again after what transpired on Saturday. If he signs this week I'm 99% sure he plays.
-
Sorry but every time he has played he looks absolutely gash. You'd like to think he'd show something but he's not even good in the air and he's a giant.
-
Based on the fact that Onuachu is one of the worst signings in the clubs history? Paintsil plays in a different position yes but he has attributes that are likely to improve us. Onuachu is not suited to the English game what do ever.
-
I'd imagine we would see him as a replacement for Sulemena or Tella.
-
Can't say I've seen anything of Paintsil but he will offer us more than Onuachu so on that basis, get it done.
-
True. My issue is that he isn't great in the air. Stephens isn't either. When the rest of your team is under 6 ft you at least need your CB's to be dominant in this aspect.
-
Holgate is a big no from me. We need a dominant centre back who is positionally sound.
-
Bazunu; KWP, Stephens, Bednarek, Manning; Charles, Downes, Alcaraz; A.Armstrong, Tella, Adams. Smallbone in for Charles if he's fit.
