Perhaps the club need an expereinced CF like Frank Worhtington, somebody who didnt score many but he knitted the frnt players together, Bamford may be one to do similar

It is a terrible blow for Ross, how he must feel, and the terrible mess it must make to his mental health.For me a selfish fan, Im gutted and am angry at the club for leaving such an obvious hole in our squad by not buying a CF. Its difficult, I recall fns saying lets get Broja in the summer, pay what they want etc etc, but he has done little. The clubs policy of buying potential seems another masterplan by Rasmus IMO. So where do we go from here, I have said before I dont fancy going up this season as this squad would humiliate us more than last season. The recruitment team are not fit for purpose as the type of player we buy are not physical enough to cope with the physicality of the PL. IMO we need strong athletic players who are also have pace.

The best £5m we could spend is find who is sourcing the players at Bournemouth and pay them big wages to do their stuff here. I dont know how many sit through and watch the whole of a PL game, but I for one get bored and either channel flick or look a social media. Football is quite dull with the constant side ways passing etc, I do like Bournemouths approach though, exciting stuff (I did not see the first half last night) I find footballers who in the main are just jobbing footballers driving Bentleys and on massive money is a turn off as well. The cream deserve top money as they are a pull for viewers.

When WS did those changes at half time I thought he had signed his sacking. It turned out to be correct. I cant recall many players who hit the floor running and being perfect in the erly days. Fans seem to expect aplayer to fit in straight away. You can see he has a good brain and presses plus good interplay. He will turn out to be a top player for us, just be patient

Theirf midfield was mobile, I felt Jander should have been taken off after 70 mins and bring Flynn on to add a bit of bite. The ref was just ok, should have booked a couple of theirs earlier and that would have helped, as they fouled consistantly. Azaz was ok, and I felt Fellows was unlucky to be taken offas he still was causing them problems. Luck is against us, that goal was such a fluke, Wood so unlucky

Exactly Championship players for championship teams. They are not worth a great deal.Iam sure had a chamionship come in for the majority of those we would have sold them.
