its what you are used to. To all of a sudden have your family not at your call and not knowing makes you feel uneasy I would have thought. Of course if you have gone down that chosen route for a career then you may have a different mindset. The days of the press gang would see things different

Things are going so well for you that you might get a mention on one of the lower league football shows.
-
trouble is Billy is that we may never return. Look at Ipswich. We need to stay up and try and get some kind of stability but having such a poor recruitment set up we are in trouble
-
do you blame the club not listening to the fans after they decided they wanted Puel gone. He polished a turd and many could not see how well he was doing
-
May as well get Hope Powell in as at least wed have some kind of hope
-
when I first cameon here today and saw that Armstrong had scored 2 I thought we must be winning !!!
-
If we go down who is going to take any of our players. Sunderland mark II. Well done Les

I have listened to 2 top goalscorers recently talking about their skill and both said that they spent countless hours just shooting at goal, sometimes just into an empty net so that they had a kind of muscle memory where the goal is. Perhaps that is what the club shuld make all our strikers do for hours on end. The 2 players who said this wer Ian Wright and Ibrahimovic, not a bad place to take advice

Listening to Saintspodcast some months ago it had a statistician on. The Saints playerwith most points per time on pitch was Claisie!
-
I thught Harry said under oath that he didnt know how to bet!! there he was last night talking about reading the Racing post will Jim Smith pplacing bets lol
-
yep, but slipped in his FA cup win. To e fair he is an engaging personality and if you weren't a fan of most of the clubs he managed you would like him.
-
Kelly Cates is very good, the ex England player who is scouse is appalling, also the 2 who are reporting from games. To be fair most of the men are rubbish on all channels,I wont do BTsport due to their pundits
-
Surely he is trying to bring a few in during the window

So it seems that it is all talk and no action. Set examples by living without a ar or a foreign holiday. Walk to the local shop and buy your groceries and lug them back home in all weathers. It looks great standing on a bridge waving a flag ****ing off people who are trying to get around, while you giggle with your mates. You're hypocrites and if you read this you are using energy that has been created by the thing you are fghting against. Oh and before you say about renewables, the energyand resources they use to be created are just as damaging. Another question, explain this being down to mankind. Obviously something is going on with the climate but is it all due to us? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medieval_Warm_Period https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Ice_Age

Lol, so causing disruption to normal people going around trying to get things done is right? No doubt the emissions that these protests have caused will have added to what they want to stop. They like most of us are Nimbys, they want others to stop but not in their own lives
-
I'm amazed he is not chairing the Sunday Supplement on Sky using all his wonderful descriptions

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/rebellion-protesters-block-london-bridges/ar-BBPO5Of?ocid=spartanntp Im sure they mean well, but I assume none of them used cars to get there, or go on foreign holidays. Its easy to protest but how about all of them setting examples
-
Shurlock you are obviously a very well informed and intelligent person. Reading you posts you always lose the moral high ground with your insistence of trying to belittle others on here, why? Put across your points without the Pal and all the other put downs,Imsure you will get better response Thanks

to be fair,it is distasteful. Both sides try and bully the other with childish name calling, it is like the 'scummer' chants. I remember such name calling inthe playground when I was about 8. Grown people using childish terms as they cant really win an argument.

Sadly im not sure what a good deal can possibly be in this scenario. To me staying in would have been best, as all I can see and feel is damage that has been inflicted and I fail to see any bonus. How can we do better in business terms when we are turning our backs on 400m potential customers. We have opened the door to the possibility to the most left wing government in the nations history, if you feel that is giving us freedom then Im surprised. Things were going fine until the vote, yes there are annoyances but dont any authority giving out laws. Being 'free' is an illusion, you cn park on a road, you need licences for loads of things, and of course a passport to go anywhere abroad. I respect your views Wes and I hope Im wrong but from where Im sitting it is a disaster
-
Hi Wes how can a no deal be better than a deal? Surely the chaos that a no deal will bring could in theory bring the country to its knees.Im in the luxury sector and business is dire as people are sitting on their hands. The same goes for my friends in many other businesses. The pound will drop massively (that would help me for my exports, but it wont help the general person in the street which is no good) at first exporters will gain but not when they are importing so much raw materials etc to make the products. Can you imagine the chaos at the ports as border checks come back into play, and then of course we have to try and find new markets for our stuff as quotas and tariffs kick in for exports to Europe. Im patriotic and a proud Englishman but at the end f the day , waving a flag at the white cliffs of dover really wont bring wealth to our nation
-
so he has found his voice, he lost it for 2 years before
-
Can Dover that is the closest large port to Europe be compared to ours? I think that is a tad harsh, I assume that doesn't include the Tunnel?

If you read the Echo article he only really had full control when Koeman came, before that it was NC. So the first year he selected well in Koeman who in turn found the players, after that when Reed really put the input in did we start to falter. Move on Saints to better things
-
I have stated in the past that I was told that Steve Bruce was firends with Reed and in turn Bruce is greta mates with MH. I heard today that they are not too sad at the club he has gone. Apparently Reed told the managers from the young teams up what formations had to be played. Hopefully there will be a breath of fresh air around the club and we can move on. Glasgows momentum curve does fall in with the leaving of Koeman and where we are now. It is since Reed had major control did the curve move down.
