The name OldNick came into play as I was NickH and some prat came on using NickG soit starting causing confusing to some posters thinking my posts were NickG therefore I had it changed to OldNick as in used to be Nick, of course in hindsight I should have used OldNickH but of course the other prat may have changed to OldnickG if you can follow all that. Contracts mean SFA and so him signing one does protect the asset for the club but it doesn't mean he wont go in January or next summer. Sorry if I cant get too excited by players signing long contracts but its the cynic in me.

VVD was a last ditch defender with us, thats because we were weak on the flanks and the midfield in front of him.
