  1. As i believe in democracy I find it difficult to back another vote. The original question was in or out and to a degree no deal with WTO rules result is the true democratic outcome.
  2. It good to read both sides debating on this, but I haven't seen anyone put up how we can come out of this mess without us being really hurt
  3. is that a hint of something
  4. Pace and athletic strong players in the centre of the pitch. We have been calling for this for seasons
  5. You work in London for better pay locally I assume, therefore why should the man in the street pay for that privilege?
  6. If you can recall BritshRail before privatisation you would never contemplate the state owning it again. Sadly it seems there is this fantasy that the state can run the rail ay better or efficiently that a private company. The extra money needed to subsidise this wonderful new rail network will have to come from somewhere. Oh yes squeeze the rich, or borrow more. Lets burden the future generations so that they have to struggle to pay for our comfort now. Personally I use South West trains and find their service very good. Clean safe and normally very punctual. Ok I dont use it during rush hour but it seems fine to me. As another has mentioned, the majority of the travellers are commuting to well paid jobs and so why should others pay for that? Perhaps there should be special rates for the key and low paid workers rather than all. You cant just wait for the franchises to end and just take it on,as far as Im aware you have to purchase all the rolling stock etc , take on the staff or pay off their contracts
  7. Yeah it must be right as it wasn't by a bird....lol
  8. Apart from a great point for us ,you can add the sick feeling all the other teams around us will have as they would be expecting us to finish on nil point for us tonight
  9. lol st Marco well done , unless that is Les with the glasses
  10. What a result. Valery getting a good review by the Sky pundit. There cant be a negative re the performance. Well done Saints
  11. Why? Is he signing for Liverpool or Man City then
  12. I thought Jordan Cross was a Saints fan. Im sure he has a Saints tattoo
  13. Media coverage !!! You hardly hear a thing about them. Neil Allen award winning , where did that come from? Its not one of those awards by one of those companies that offer awards but you have to book a table at a dinner and awards get given out by any chance.

    Steven Davis

If he goes I wish him luck. Iam surprised he hasnt been used more, as his experience will be missed.
  15. I can only assume his injury is the reason he has lost his way. Under Puel he looked exciting
  16. I wonder if Carrilo is someone who may help if we dont have funds to buy a forward. Surely his energy and enthusiasm may work under Ralph. Ok he didnt do thatwell before but to be fair we were worse than we are now and the style might suit now. Clutching at straws perhaps

  18. you've got me there lol.
  19. lol you have been doing it for weeks on the Redmond thread
  20. oes the own goal go down as an assist or a goal when you flag up stats in the future??
  21. It always was madness having the away fans having half one end
  22. Im even more sure they haven't faced a talented footballer take a shot at them wit the new footballs that I used nowadays. McCarthy is a decent keeper, I feel his worst mistake this season was against Brighton where he should have come and collected the cross when we had just gone 2 up. Big mistake that cost us. As for Gunn, we haven't seen him face a PL attack in the league, a risk if heisnt as good as some make out. I don't think City would sell if he was that good
  23. I get where you are coming from but we are at least scoring some goals, unlike in large periods last and the start of this season. The squad is bloated with players with no pace of physique. Athletic teams with midfields like West Ham and Watford will survive as they overpower teams like us. Ralph is testing young players for their speed and the enthusiasm of youth, as the bulk of the squad is so onepaced. I think we will be Ok but we have to up our game soon when the slightly easier games come around. As was pointed out before on here on other threads Swansea did well for a period and looked safe last season but then fell off the cliff, we mustn't do the same. This weekend has been demoralising due to the results of other clubs
  24. Typical West Ham came to ours and looked strong , go to Burnley and are a joke ffs
