  1. you can despise them but singng about them when we were playing an imortant European game! They will have reflected pleasure knowing that instead of thinking about Saints and egging on our team that the first songs as the game kicked off was about their non entity team.

at 22? players are normally peaking around 26ish
  3. yep I thought the same, it was sure to be about extending the stands lol
  4. I was listening to the first 20minutes on the radio and commented that the first few songs were all about Pompey. Boring, they are L2 and why we advertise them to the world amazes me. They are a forgotten outfit and so we should forget them.....perhaps we should have blue poppies with Lest we remember or Forgotten on them

i wonder if he has been watching and taking note of the keeping in Forum matches lol...if only I could dig out a certain goal against my team of heroes....................only kidding BP
  6. thanks, it sounded pretty distasteful and whilst I understand it was 'professional' as Shearer etc would say, I believe that doing what the inter player did to the penalty spot was beyond the pale. Gamemanship is part of football but that for some reason offends me more than other tricks. Sadly a great club like Inter will have their image tarnished by doing such things and should be above it
  7. On Sky Sports news they were making a big thing about the Milan player damagig the penalty spot and McQueen being elbowed. I cant seem to find a mention of the event on here and so was it not a major incident????
  8. People complain that people feel unattached from politics and then when they do vote it seems their wishes are going to be thwarted by sidestepping
  9. this is a mess, I would have thought that the man on the street felt that if the result went Brexit then the then Government will impliment the peoples wishes. The unelected judges are going agianst the nations wishes and this makes people dislike the establishment further. For the nation to go back cap in hand and say 'no we are not leaving after all' would be the biggest disaster since Dunkirk. The joke of Europe. All of you can debate about the technical bits but the majority of people on the street will feel betrayed by the judges/Parliament. I voted in and should be delighted but no Iam disappointed that people are wriggling out of the decision
  10. Katrina might sell as she is sick of the best players being sold all the time....
  11. how qbout CCB Fryed Rice
  12. Yep the Brexiters will be doing just nicely for Corbyn and his mob, give it another year and the folly of completely leaving the EU will be full in our faces. Iam very happy with immigration but not unlimited, we need young people to come into our society to make up for the shortfall we have in our own population to keep the older generations cared for. The costs to your business have ramped up and will do so more as costs feed through, this in turn will make our products dearer and so the advantage at present of the exchange rate will be eroded.
  13. lol, not in my house, that was quick and get them off fast have different meanings
  14. Lol , nice one, nor a photocopying machine salesman. He may be driving a taxi now as he did a bad job for my business at the time
  15. In the past rising inflation was met by a raising of interest rates. I wonder if that may add to the nonsense we are facing now. A restranteur I was speaking to yesterday was bemoaning tha fact that he can see 35% price rises coming through from his suppliers. Give it a year and I wonder if the nation will be pushing for a second vote. I caught a bit of the interview on BBC breakfast this morning and the chairman of WPP said something about a vote on Brexit, he worded it an unusual way. The rabid Brexitters will always be rabid about it but IM sure like the remainers there are plenty in the middle ground and if there is some kind of resolution there may be somewhere instead of this madness into the unknown.
  16. Yes,a business contact was very friendly with him
  17. be under no illusion that Jrod would have been here had he not got injured. He was Spurs bound
  18. you are jumping to the conclusion that I believed it was a thin squad all of a sudden. It was in the summer and still is now. The manager is doing a very good job as well
  19. injuries are always going to happen unless you are really lucky, like Leicester last season. They lost none of their key players. Therefore it would be perhaps prudent to have backup especially as we were relying on Jrod to come good to make up for losses to ur goalscoring. It was not a case of losing to Chelsea, although had we had more zip and energy then we may well have given them more of a game (Long would have stretched their defence with his pace)our performance against Sunderland also showed our lack of depth as we were poor there as well. Anyway, Iam hopeful that we will show our preious good football and energy when we play Inter on thursday
  20. Puel seems to be a very smart man and hopefully he can weave some magic or unearth a couple of gems from the youth. I think the way the team looked jaded yesterday underlines the need for a couple more players, although it is always hard to get decent players in in that window
  21. The team have performed well so far this season, but concerns of mine and oters during the summer that we needed a few more coming in due to the extra games and loss of goalscorers. No Long and Jrod left us pretty thin. I know it was only yesterday that ti eally showed but the gmes are coming quick and fast
  22. Davis' deadball kicks were awful, he really did have an offday
  23. Agree, I didn't see him as a problem today,
  24. a sluggish display, VVD even seemed disinterested. Tadic not in the game and Davis poor by his standards. We looked comfortable enough until Chelsea scored through a decent bit of skill by Hazard. I felt there was a lack of belief, before the game I was very confident of a draw minimum but was not expecting such a lethargic and unimaginative display. Hopefully we will be more energetic on Thursday. Hard to put MOM but Romeau closest to having a good performance.
