well Hodgson did him a bad turn by installing in our players you need to play in a big club. I do hope Hodgson avoids watching any of our other players in the future, he picks them and they get their heads turned

His goal at the Kop end was my favourite as he made a complete fool of Mark Wright, and the Kop applauded the skill -
When the oil is close to running out, they will be raising their own finances through taxation and the Barnet formula will be redundant. Personally I want the Scots to be happy, they have voted for the Union and so need to be rewarded or not punished.
-
Scotland to raise its own taxes, lol Salmond and co will then be the fall guys if things go wrong. They will not be able to blame Westminster then.

The assertion that Chambers is a bad apple is far from the truth. What song is the board singing wrong by the way? Is it Go Southampton ra ra ra

like Whitehall, MOD and local government, all are inefficient and wasteful. If you were transported back in time to when the nationalised industries were at their peak you would understand why we dont believe it to be the eutopia you think it is

So many of those have been total successes as well...or not

AL will have 2or3 more games before the forums and fans get on his back. Then we will see if he has the character to overcome the pressure. He had it easy here as we forgave him of his weaknesses, the Kop will not be so forgiving.

The Newcastle game where we look to be certain for relegation 1-0 down with a few minutes to go. For the only time I have ever heard an announcer came on and stated 'will the fans in the Archers sit down' the Archers in their defiance stood up and started to sing, it I seemed to energise the whole stadium and Newcastle just froze. Neil Heaney scored an equaliser, and my brother got up and walked out saying 'too little ,too late' before we scored another couple to win. Pas for SMS I thnk it has a fantastic atmosphere, when the games are big or important t enough. The Norwich game in our relegation season was special. as we get older I'm sure our memories become fonder, but the Dell before the seating on the terraces could be an awesome place

hey Mack, is it true you sent off for a Pompey mug and got back a picture of yourself?

44 labour MPs (?) and Milliband will be praying and rubbing their lucky charms tonight. 5m voters from Scotland dictating to 58m in England what is itall coming to .

apparently Salmond admires the English. He has mangaged to hide that for decades! he says it's going to be a fairer society up there, communist state on our border alert lol

his defence of Gaddifi was great wasn't it? Reading how Gaddafi treated some of his people was appalling,

We used to walk up from Shirley first thing on a Saturday morning and would be one of the first in the queue in Archers road. Normally we would be there around 10-10.30 One of the main stewards (present time)at the club was one of our group. we would stand and wait until the gates open and then get to the front of the terrace. The smell of cigarette smoke and the swaying of the crowd still stays with me now. When the crowd swayed forward you would be pressed against the front wall and try and get your breath until the fans moved back into their place, within seconds another sway happened and again we were pressed up against that wall. Health and safety would do their nuts in nowadays. The home game against Man U when we had a record crowd still is strong in my mind. The crush!!! Standing so close you could hear the players chat and as others had said you could smell them! I shudder now how we heard Hughie Fishers leg break when Bob Wilson slid out and did him. Lots of memories but never the same when we had seating in the Archers and Milton etc

Heard some interesting stuff from backroom....well i thought so.Staff thought AL is likely to be very injury prone and so best to sell him. Lovren although a decent player, not best attitude in dressing room. Very sad that the club lost Chambers though

did they think the money would go to the football club?????? 1.6 m wouldnt go far anyway, most of the budget would go on shovels to clean the pitches of the dog####
