yep yawn, I understand your position as you are in the public sector and the loosening of strings by Labour will see more money wasted. Iam sure if I was in the comfort of index linked pensions etc I would be left orientated. Have you seen the price of fuel jump already due to sterlings weakness as the political uncertainty takes its hold? Like it or not people with real wealth controls our destiny, most of it is in foreign hands and they will move their money elsewhere if it looks like the government is not sympathetic to business. I have seen many governments and all cost me more money each time,my position is not from selfishness but i wish for the nation to be able to pay its way and then be more than able to look after the weak. My view is that a Labour government as well meaning as they look , are not good for the nation as a whole. All politicians treat it as a game, they are all intent on power and influence there are few who really are passionate about doing the right thi for us all. Say anything to get power and bugger the consequences. While we are at it, can you or any of the other Labour supporters please tell me what Ed means when he says Rich and Poverty ? Ed mentions the people with the broadest shoulders, but will that mean people earning 20k, 30k 50k or 1m a year? I read that ANYONE in the UK are in the IIRC 1% of the wealthiest people in the world. Therefore what contrues poverty? When i was a kid it was kids without shoes no roof over their head and starving. Is it now no Sky or washing machine?

If people think that Labour will make your lives better you will be disappointed. Just watch living standards drop as the money flows out of the country and the pound plummets. The cost of anything that is imported will go up, costing everybody more. Having Balls in charge of the economy lol. Foreign investors will leave and the impression people will have the impression they are not welcome. You only have to look across the channel to see what can happen

my brother did so as well

Was there with my dad(RIP) and recall him shedding a tear at the final whistle. It didn't sink in for me what an achievement we had done at the time

I thought Krueger said if players don't want to be here they can go.if so VW can move if he says he wants to. i never believed we could go through what we did last summer and survive, if it happened again this summer I again would be very doubtful we could do the same as we have this season. If we did happen to lose 4 of our best players, we would not only have to recruit 4 to replace them but also have a deeper squad to play in the Europa league.

He's got bloody long legs and should use them to sweep through balls. Watch how De Gea and the Chelsea keeper does. A ball splits our defence or a back pass is a little light and there Iam thinking FF will be there in a second, in a second ,in asecond...... I don't like over criticising our players but Forster really needs to be decisive and be at the edge of his box ready to clear .
-
That is harsh Crabby. If he swept and came for the ball he would be one of the top in the world.Until he learns how to dominate the area there will be question marks over him
-
That was the game when at halftime Kelvin had 2of our players by the throat as they didn't care. Rudi and the Dutch centre back. This is fact. It always amazes me when people say a keeper dives over the ball 3times. If any of you go into goal in the park and have some of the shots come at you at the power and swerve a modern player can produce, you may have a bit more understanding

they are a quaint little town club, but they will give it the big one. The good humour will soon rub off if they stay up and few seasons, especially if they beat us. 'Where were you, where were you, for the last 100 years' , would be the best retort
-
yep, it amazes me how many people are solid bone from the neck up
-
Not for me, let them have the prospect of Wembley pulled from under them. To see the prospect of the 3L's playing at Wembley would sicken me.
-
well type Wickham into your search and you will see a 3page thread on him. I do not know how to copy and paste on my ipad
-
There are many on here who were demanding we buy Wickham,if yesterday is anything to go by,it would be a terrible waste. Pelle does things that many on here do not notice. Most of the time he has at least 2 defenders on him, that makes it very difficult to score
-
Elia scored 2 at Newcastle that got us 3 points,he showed promise. In time they will slot in and look decent
-
Don't forget to get all the scratches and car-park dinks out of it before you return it.If not you could get hit.....oh and the mileage as well
-
Rogers disappeared from the media when things weren't going well ,then when they went on a decent run he was on Talksport etc. Taking the plaudits
-
I said the same about Beckham lol
-
We will have to differ on that. I did enjoy watching us at Chelsea with the pace, but feel that Pelle is not getting the service. The chance yesterday was down to his skill rather than the quality of cross.
-
But Pelle is not a poor player. His flick that Howard somehow kept out was sublime.
-
I think that is a tad unfair. Koeman is doing an exceptional job, I for one felt we would be where Aston Villa are now or worse.
-
thats the only A1 ever to be associated with Pompey

There are about 40% of Latvians with Russian extraction. Apparently when Latvia was part of the Soviet Union the Russians treated the people quite poorly and now the roles have reversed the Latvians are making it difficult for the Russian Latvians. It is hard for them to get passports.
-
Their goal was just lucky that the deflections feel exactly right for them. Howard made 2incredible saves and once JWP scores his first I'm sure he will soon be a regular goal scorer
-
How on earth could that chance be smashed lol.
