    Pompey boy
  4. Clyne has not been the same since he played for England. It seems your first cap comes with a transfer request
  5. Funnily enough I come across a lot more non rich asking for cash when they are washing the car, doing small jobs etc than people at the high end
  6. It amazes me that the 2 of you would entertain Yvette Cooper as Labour leader! Have you not learnt that MPS like her ,her husband and Ed turn the middle ground voters off. She was very low key during the election as I suspect many of the powers to be knew that she would cost votes every time she showed her face. Elect her by all means I'm sure the rest of the parties will be right behind you happily encouraging it
  7. I was told yesterday IIRC that only a small percentage of the people on sickness benifit have done so due to a doctor. The rest have done it by filling out a form. Is this correct?
  8. That's fair, and I mentioned in another thread that the Liberals can hold their heads high. At the end of the day asperation won over jealousy, and the nation are not as stupid as Labour think, and that they don't want the overspend again.
  9. Yet again you are correct.
  10. After reading the election thread and the high brows on there, I think the way to see what is going to happen is to completely expect the opposite of what they say
  11. I doubt that was arranged today. It is amusing reading the link on the same page about Russel Brand and his backtracking. The arrogant fool thought he could make a difference, funnily enough I think he may have to a degree as they voted against him.
  12. notice that the Labour leaning people dont point the unfairness when they won? They only had 10 years to change it
  13. I feel sad for the Libs, they can hold their heads up high as they put the nation first.Sadly the spectre of the SNP took them down
  14. good old Russel brand...lol The best result of the night was to see Ed Balls lose his seat, he couldnt get the faith of his local constituents let alone run our economy. Rejoice, rejoice, rejoice
  15. Guardian only 185k readers., it seems most of them post on here.
  16. Lol. No, he is c list, as in 4 letter word
  17. For me to point out that how I despise the way he treats woman as a throwaway product should be enough. You may think that he's just a lad and you are happy for women to be used and tossed aside after use. Whilst most of the women know what they are up against it is not a great reflection if his opinions on anything are worth listening to. You will find him a darling because he is in bed with Ed but that is IMO blinding you from his disgusting ways. Typical of modern society CList people being celebs for doing sweet FA. Oh and he can take his mate Jonathan Ross with him
  18. Not of interest to many, and minor in the big picture but the Tories are going to ban the buying/selling of any ivory items whatever the age.At present it is rightfully illegal to sell any item post 1947. In theory any musical instrument eg pianos and other ancient works of art will be embraced into this madness. They must have been talking too much to the Royals who want to crush the nations/Royal collection of ivory items that are part of our heritage . Whilst people can pass them down or give them away a lot of items will be lost due to neglect and ignorance
  19. thankfully the voters saw throug the dogma, 25 years on and the NHS is still not privatised
  20. what a surprise. Labour are welcome to that disgusting excuse of a human being. If women take any notice of him they should be ashamed of themselves
  21. What's the problem? If people want private schools and private care , that in theory can make room for others in the NHS, of course we don't want the NHS downgraded but if they run alongside each other that is good
  22. when Labour came to power, Blair and Brown took the BoE powers away and let the banks self regulate. That led to the mess we are in. it was great for a while as loads of money came into the Exchequor and Labour could spend. They were like Crack Whores on it and couldnt go cold turkey. A few on S4E mentioned at the time it was madness, that people who could not put £1 down on a house could borrow 100% and more and it would end in tears. The crash came and we werre left in a worse position than most countries in the world. Yes there were other factors but Blair and co took the cork out of the bottle
  23. What is the big deal about her? I don't get all the worship. She made her money with the nations support and then move off to tax exile
  24. Most of these people fleeing seem to young men, there are women and children amongst them but the massive majority are men. Have they abandoned their families and run off to Europe. I assume as they are integrated into Europe they will be allowed to bring countless more of their families across to join them.
  25. Mane is going to. E one of the best players in the PL next season. Once Koeman has used his skill moulding him and utilising his skill and pace he is going to be one hell of an exciting player
