  1. Yes the tactics of playing around the back is wrong, but to start calling for RM head is pathetic.
  2. why, you lot just look like petulant kids. Its comical
  3. I hate losing but you lot on here are incredible. A bunch of ingrates who throw their dummies out of the pram. Werent doing that in May. It was obvious we were not a PL team, we finished 4th. I know you wont like the truth but to give up after 3 , yes 3 games!!!!!
  4. well the season has started and in 3 games AA , Macca and RM are being torn apart. I am as frustrated as anyone but we mustn't turn on ourselves
  5. That is something that amazes me Dibling doesnt and IMO will get a skin injury or worse
  6. I am of the camp that if NC didnt want to buy the player he would not have done so. Dont forget that he would be doing the negotiations re wages etc etc and could easily stumer the purchase. So I believe the NC was not against it
  7. Really? IMO he is not a real headline signing.
  8. some of the fanbase, hypocrites who were delighted how he stiffened our defence at a most crucial time of last season. He played well and gave the defence confidence, as he commanded the penalty area. He has made one error this season that did cost us, apart from that he had make plenty of crucial saves. Aribo hasn't had the pelters for his mistake that led to a goal, or THB poor show against Forest etc etc. Once fans have their perverted dislike it is tough to change their views
  9. Isnt he a friend of one of our coaches?
  10. I feel his PL knowhow would be useful. I totally agree with his safe at all costs passing sideways backwards would be a negative. Funnily enough when I think NJ played him in a breaking forward role he was very good. For some reason that idea was stopped
  11. the wife told you you have to take her shopping?
  12. Perhaps betting is illegal in Saudi and it helps him shake the habit lol 😀 It wont be about money lol
  13. Now were being silly lol
  14. Player of the season, that rings a bell somewhere. Am I wrong that McCarthy was also tipped at one time, but I could be wrong. I dont know how many times I have to say it, but Im happy for Ramsdale to come but Iam not convinced he is the massive upgrade
  15. What makes you 10 levels higher? Im sure his pass to Charly was no worse than Maccas at Newcastle. When we watch Ramsdale every week we may see issues that we haven't on TV. Ramsdale is a better keeper but I personally feel hes not that much better. Im grateful to Macca for how he performed last season and on Saturday he kept the score down.
  16. Im comfortable with Macca, he cant kick the ball that well but hes not that poor. As I said if we get Ramsdale that's fine, but I'm not that sure he's that much better. Time will tell.
  17. Time will tell. If he does make some crucial saves to get us points Im all for him.
  18. Ramsdale would have saved no more than Macca on Saturday
  19. Champagne bars are now found in many high streets, they werent there 10 years ago either. Its like lamenting the lack of flared trousers in the shops
  20. Im not too excited about Ramsdale, 'Hes not the messiah hes just a naughty boy' He let shedloads in with Bournemouth and Sheff Utd, once he joined Arsenal he had a decent defence in front of him. Hopefully Im wrong but I dont see him making a massive difference to us.
  21. well he called him a beast with great attitude the other week, and so he must be doing well in training
  22. Having a centre forward who can for the last 15 minutes who can shake up the opponents when we need a goal is what we called out for in the last 2 games. I dont want to play hoof-ball but I do want us to actually make the opponents defence feel they have had a game. This was not the s=case Saturday. Their centrehalfs were smoking cigars in comfy chairs all game
  23. The reason for that is the club invested in a young keeper who they thought was the bees knees. It turns out he was Nora Battys knees. He also was up against Forster, after he had a poor period. Now working under a highly rated goal keeping coach his sharpness has returned. Personally I am cool with him being our number 1. I assume you wouldn't have Nick Pope just look how useless he is with his feet, he is an absolute joke kicking the ball but he does what a goalkeeper should do, save the ball. I have been going to games for a very long time and Shilton was terrible kicking the ball out unless it was a drop kick launch. Niemi a fantastic keeper but he wasnt one you could trust with his feet.
  24. I suggest if that was the news you were talking about I doubt you would put VERY interesting , but VERY disappointing news
