Also to be fair to Isak he played a perfect first time pass to the scorer, I suspect if it had happened the other way we would have crossed it over the bar or another balls up way
-
He is not an outfield player that's for sure. As for didnt try that is unfair but people have the preconceptions and won't change their mind.
-
whilst it was a poor pass by McCarthy, Stephens didnt need to play it to him in such a tight space.
-
I do hope we did a Murphy send off
-
I as with you at the start of the season, but what impressed me was that he did change and became more pragmatic. The play offs and final showed that he was prepared to change his principles a bit
-
In the 80's when football violence spread, the attendances fell dramatically. People were turned off the game. I know things are different but the tide could turn, not that im expecting it to
-
Brooks hardly set the world alight
-
I have seen on here that Archer looks pretty quick but from the clips he runs away at first but the defenders do seem to be able to get to him. Hopefully im wrong and he is Rodney Wallace pace
-
I registered by following the auto link . If you use the link and then look at your leagues you should see Saintsweb on the list. Im useless at this type of thing, but managed to do it and so if I can!!!!!
-
to be fair his nickname is Skipp
-
yeah but he's not ugly 😀😁

well they should do so, the medical will be pull your trousers down and cough, then the contract will be on the back of a vape packet. Right thats all the necessaries done lets fax it to the FA

DT, There is not a keeper in the history of football you have said a good word about LOL. AM is not a world class keeper but he does save shots unlike our ball playing keeper who is injured. AM will come for the ball and that was important in games eg WBA and Leeds. His command of the area took pressure off the defence and we did seem more solid. As for Ramsdale, dont forget he has been relegated twice when being the keeper
-
No as 10m will get us little to replace although it seems Ipswich are getting Smolicks for 9m
-
I will be very disappointed to see Tall Paul go, especially for 7-8 million. We wont get much of a forward for that money and TP will add a bit to our game especially for a plan b/C option. He may well earn us points that could be our saviour. RM is not stupid and hopefully he will accept that having a different option that opposition defenders dont like. He maybe the perfect foil for AA or BBD. Having been brought up in the days of Toshack and Keegan and how effective that was perhaps Im misjudging modern football

Well the gov has given the junior doctors 22% wage increase and now the Train drivers 14% increase, seems its going to be a bountiful time for any workforce with a powerful union. The floodgates are starting to open, and so not only massive wage increases but also the pensions that come with it will be added. Prudent and keeping the reins on inflation it seems, top work

Leicester won the FA cup, that could well have been us if Ralf hadnt shit himself and played to not get thrashed. An appalling game/show from us and you never know had we won that we could have won the cup. Unlikely but 'Super Ralf' showed what a wonderful manager he was lol. Im one of the few who believe that Puel was poorly treated.
-
I agree with St Louis, its not easy as getting a price, tell the player what you are paying re wages and he signs. The agents want to float the interest around hopefully to get another club interested, the selling clubs also want to do so.
-
I totally agree that we were better in the last few games as RM adapted tactics and style brilliantly. This give sme hope that he is pragmatic.
-
Remember this time last season, we missed out on Piroe who was going to fire Leeds to the PL at our expense? Didnt happen and whilst we have missed out on players, it doesnt mean they will set the league alight. I still wonder if Souza from Sheff Utd would be a good signing. I think he won more tackles and interceptions playing for a poor team
-
what were we then 5th or 6th best? Just because we beat Leeds last game of the season hardly makes us PL. We lost to Stoke the week before I think you will find, so then we may have been 15th best side. Point is we went up by winning the play off competition and were brilliant doing so, it doesnt paint over the fact that our squad was not PL standard and time will see how we get on. It was heartening that RM did seem to change his tactics and adapted well. Im not certain how we will fare, but fully aware we may have a miserable year, but also we may surprise a few people.
-
Truthfully we were the 4th best side in the Championship and won the play off. To improve that would need us t change loads of players toi improve never likely to happen
-
Think there is a problem between Howe and Fraser, who is wanting a pay off and Saints wanting him on a free.

It will be reading your posts Mickey lol .....only teasing
