Reading positive posts is great, but until I have seen these top signings play in the PL I will stay doubtful. Very few foreign players have come straight into the English game and been great. Team spirit is not to a bottle of scotch you pass around CB. It is a bond and very hard to nurtur. I have played in quite a few different teams in sport and sometimes there is a chemistry and others there is not, being paid is not what creates that. it doesnt sit well with me seeing our English team being sold and swopped for a load of foreign players I have never heard of. Of course if they do well I will be delighted, but it gave me a bit of pride that we were different having an English core

for me the frustration is the club knew this was going to happen and were not ready. Most fans on here knew we were short in areas for most of last season. To then lose the quality and still not be ready to have replacements is mad. The club got superb money for most of the players if not all, but that will be meaningless if we do not stay in the top flight. Whilst relegation may not be on the horizon yet I bet the odds of us doing so have changed. Speaking to clients today, they all have a perception of the club in crisis , everyone leaving and having no players. If these people in Blackburn, Brighton, Crewe are thinking this I suspect players from around the UK and perhaps Europe may think we are doomed and so making harder for us to bring players in

Look Im very unhappy what is going on, but futile marches and banners are loved by the media but does nothing to help the fans or club. Basically we have to put up with it as the club belongs to KL and she is legally able to play with it how she pleases.

We have never been a joke club, we may have had some dodgy times but we are not a joke.

Some of those are a leap of faith. Pelle better than Rickie Lambert, and Tadjic better than AL. I do hop you are correct in that. RL is still a super forward, ok no pace but a superb footballing brain and makes goals as well as scores them. He is a major loss to us. AL less so IMO but he still was a very good player for us although cannot shoot
