  1. Crabby, the way some employees rang the ex-players as soon as it seemed NC was gone was strange. To rush into something so unimportant at that stage showed the focus was gone. Iam still astounded that Krugers comment that he was surprised how little a manager does during a game compared to ice-hockey as they make substiutions all the time, was glossed over on here. If Clive Woodward had said something similar there would have been 20 pages on it by now. It is so Wilde bunch the way they are greasing up the gullible waiting to ram home while the attention is elsewhere
  2. without a doubt
  3. Did he quit? i thought he was pushed, perhaps a bit of both
  4. Dont all CEO's in the private sector and heads of departments in the Public sector use other peoples money? I would rather have an NC dealing with my cash than the majority of public sector and private people. He saw an opportunity. put it to ML who saw the asset. It is amusing how quickly so many are turning on him. To a lot of people he has helped have 5 good years of supporting our team, to now turn on him whilst being hypocritical how we enjoyed the fruits is pretty sad
  5. I think it would take more than 4 new players to make it to CL and to keep the players we have but also invest another 30-50m is not fair to be expected of KL. I would be happy for the club to keep the manager and sell the 2 but to reinvest some of the incoming funds on replacements. At present it seems we are getting the worst of all worlds
  6. i dont know about how certain planes look but surely the film of the jets going in has been pawed over by many experts, and so would expect they would have pointed out if the planes were not as stated.
  7. no reply to your shameful post to FC then
  8. he said after his conversations with players and that they bought into what the club were wanting to achieve. Of course the possibility of playing for a massive club could have been a lure as massive contracts, but sometimes people don't need all that to be happy. LS has time on his side, AL is from the area so in theory they might have stayed. I see no reason to disbelieve NC and considering how the majority on this site were cutting their throats when NC left and also fell for the Wilde bunch perhaps you will forgive me being less than supportive of some of the views on here.(i dont remember your stance on Wilde)
  9. that is a disgusting post and you should be ashamed. FC posts in a fair and balanced way and does not deserve jibes like that. The amount of times you have threatened to leave this site in the past as somebody had been rude to you should make you more considerate to others.
  10. I suspect somebody with a banking background might get a tad riled when on leaving the new regime states about poor financial positions etc. Apart from being annoyed by having the project taken away to have his professional standing rubbished may rankle a touch. This is the RL v Michael Wilde saga part 2, with some supporting the ruthless and single minded NC the other supporting the tummy tickling scarf wearing RK
  11. IMO Kruger donned a saints scarf, made up with ex-players and stocked some books in a charm offensive and then undermined our stance of being determined to keep most of our players. We should have taken a leaf out of Kenwrights book at Everton, if they buy sting the buyer so they don't come back.
  12. Is Paul Williams a die hard Saint?? He spent most of his career at Coventry didnt he? Is it right for a youth team manager to look quite so unfit and setting the best example/ im sure he is a decent guy but I never saw him as a die hard Saint. Doddsy is different
  13. What posters need to realise that some posters will be in their early teens. Get a life and accept that the poster who put up the LS is ge post did it for the best intentions. It was not trolling or intentional windup etc IMO
  14. The more desperate that Levygets the ore. Likely is that he will go for MP
  15. Conversely Kruger could have said that our manager is here to stay and work the one year left on his contract. MP is not going to play his hand and cost himself his negotiating position.
  16. yep although i havent seen him wear a pink tee shirt and baseball cap before, the other one is Lou Reed , you've read it here first
  17. the interviewer was ready and very smart. Im not UKIP but he at least stayed and tired to argue unlike many politicians
  18. the antagonistic trolling has started again, i thought this had been stopped.
  19. do an Everton and say the players are not for sale, Kenright has made any business done with them is punitive and so. Clubs are not so keen to try and buy them. Liverpool kept Suarez to his contract in theory we could do the same to ours. Losing our best players would cost us more long term as everyplace in the league we drop costs us millions. Taking away the best centre back at the club weakens us terribly
  20. IMO 20 m is s poor price for him, he is the Killer of our team and would be a massive loss. He is part of the spine of the team and that is vital
  21. Lovren would be very difficult to replace. I would rather the other 2 to go rather than him. Our defence was solid and he was a leader. He was the IMO one of the top 5 central defenders in the. PL last season
  22. POL is where he'll be.
  23. This seasons kit was great, it didn't have an unsavoury block with a prominent sponsors logo on, it blended in.the sash kit was superb because it had no branding at all, I would love us to have kits without sponsors names on, fans are just walking adverts, about time we stopped buying the shirts until there is no sponsors name on them
