Rupert Lowe - underhand dealings from beyond the realms of football
OldNick replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
why has he posted the story on the internet? surely it should be dealt with by solicitors. I have seen many of these stories in the past and there is normally the other side that needs listening to as well. I assume the £1500 is for damage and mess caused by the tenant.(although it does seem quite a lot) Was the rent paid in full? Whilst I sympathise regarding the stalker, should the landlord have to pay for any damage caused??? I am not a landlord by the way and so that is not why I am showing sympathy on that side. -
Did he get away with it?

the bloke wearing the new kit - Darleen

it would take you. A lot of energy to reply, I assume all the banging of fists on your desk as you try to get a decent reply together must sap your energy. No doubt you have to consume energy drinks to keep up
-
Meow, you did infer that theirs was better than ours, but in your world you can twist any post to suit. Aka the Boston thing, lol
-
if you would prefer that kit than ours, it would explain quite a lot

Great rugby player and commentator RIP http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/23876605 He used to be a good team captain on Question of Sport

Can someone tell me if the catering is SFC's or do they franchise it out? If the club get X amount however many items are sold ,would they care if they lose some pie sales? That may be closer to the point. If a catering company has paid a premium for the outlets i can only assume they are charging high prices to get their money back and a profit.Hence cutting corners with quality. A backward step of course but it could be a reason.
-
Cor you must make a great pair of sanctimonious blokes together lol
-
Pap, Im not having a pop, do you really still believe the Boston bombing was staged? I only ask as i watched a programme a few weeks ago about it, and saw the interview of the lady who lost her leg
-
i think that could be the basis of this. We are controlled by the Israelis friends who are in the highest places in Western society where they can exert the most pressure, and manipulate our society.
-
Turkish, you seem to be defending the quality etc, do you have a personal interest in the catering
-
what they expect in these modern days is a bit of decent quality, especially at the high price charged. Is it that hard not to see that? I notice when the club shirt is launched the quality issue is brought up time and again.
-
You miss the point. You may frown upon people wishing to purchase food in the stadium, but some people rush straight from work to get to the ground and perhaps wish to spend their money at the club rather than at one of the stalls/shops on the way to the ground. Surely it is fair to expect that the quality sold should be decent especially as you are paying a premium. I assume when you go out to the park, you take your own ice-cream or go without, as of course you can go without anything to eat drink for hours on end.

It is comical that Kerry was saying how awful it was seeing those kids dying. I suspect there are many ore in Iraq ,Afghanistan etc. As for him saying how bad chemical weapons are , perhaps he should turn on his own government when then used Napalm on the Vietmanese. I still recall those harrowing pictures of that poor child as she ran down the road with most odd her back hanging in shreds after a napalm attack

Don't bother with the new Imperial war museum, it was very disappointing.

i agree that if the loan has been paid back in full then it needs to be applauded. Just reading the Pompey statement, that is very short and with no detail, I get suspicious. Add to that FloridaMarlins post, he does have some good sources.
-
Take into account that the man has to earn about £48 before tax just to buy a ticket. That is a lot of money for the average working fan. There again we want Saints to have star players etc and so have to contribute by paying this type of price I assume.
-
i don't know why but I get the feeling that something doesn't add up here. Is it the usual ducking and diving ?Perhaps wool being pulled over the publics eyes. FloridaMarlins post is interesting and Pompeys statement just saying the loan had been paid and no figures mentioned was a bit odd. I would have thought the politicians would do anything to suppress any bad news regarding the loan and may look for ways of cloaking the true story. Too many staked their reputation on it, and the pie girlMP has said little

The only way to take on the trolls is actually stand up and not let these people degrade some posters concerns. There are plenty of fair minded posters on here who can do so.

Why degrade a posters perfectly good concern. Iam sure all the posters who are commenting live a wonderful healthy lifestyle but I notice that 1000's enjoy a pie and pint at the game. If the standards drop it is potentially costing the club revenue, although I suspect the club franchise out the food and drink rights. It will be the caterers who see their sales drop. As the post from Canada mentioned the catering that part of the world is pretty slick, sadly wherever you go to mass events we don't seem to get it right. All customers should. Be served by the time the ref blows his whistle to start. It seems to me there should someone taking the money and a voucher given, the staff should be pouring drinks ready and so a steady supply could be dished out. The pour as you order takes so much time. I k ow we have some beer experts but in my experience it a L tastes foul in the plastic cups and so if it has been standing for a minute waiting to be given out what is the problem? As for the pies if the sales drop they might change them back to your favourites. I myself would like Pleasteds to be served, that would be an upgrade
-
it will go through, local businesses never have meant much in the world of football
-
I think if the shoe was on the other foot there would be loads of Saints fans who would happily do the same. At the end of the day those people have to do the work somewhere and so why not at the local football club. No doubt they will be hiding Pompey shirts under the centre circle and in the studwork.....better than having to wear one I suppose
