Sturridge is his Liverpool teammate. This whole saga is why i dont want Saints players in the England squad. I did notice that Cole never tried to pass to RL. It was also interesting that the tv pundits mentioned that there was a better team spirit. Perhaps the big heads not being there, made them more of a team. (although Cole may fit in the big heads)

For those who got tickets I'm sure it was superb. Personally watching it on telly made no difference if it was in London or Tokyo. We have posts on here about people striking in the public sector for higher wages, well some of the reason they cannot have those is down to the debt we added to having the luxury of the Olympics.
