I doubt we will ever experience another day like it. Even if we got and won a cup final, there wouldn't be that many fans as corporate wasters would take a large chunk of tickets. To have that many fans and as united as we were is unlikely to happen. We are privileged to have that lifetime experience. I have been fortunate to be there n 76 and Fratton Park 84 and so seen 3 of Saints great moments. Hopefully we dont ever need to win a play off final again.

I really really disliked him by the way he left but time has made me mellow. I did see an interview last season when he said something on the lines of Saints being his club. It may have been when we were relegated, but he did show that he did care

Im really hoping that the Northam will bring a bit of that next season. Not having our support being watered down by the away fans. Lets se if it does help the team next season

Not a bad selection, but we cant have too many who may dilute the team spirit. A couple of old experienced players would help.

That Norwich game lulled Leeds and media into thinking they were demi gods, truth is Norwich were abject. They arrived with arrogance and their fans likewise and fell into our trap

You beat me to it FS, incredibly kind and thoughtful of you how you chased me down to get me the ticket. I think Hypo also helped. (Whelk Weston Super Saint also had input I believe) Great company and helped , if that was possible, to add to the most wonderful day. Having hugs with 3 grown strangers when we scored and at the final whistle!!! was an experience but wonderful all the same. I wish I knew their names lol. All the talk of Leeds fans in with us was as I had thought a nonsense although there were 2 very po faced men in the row behind meat the final whistle.
