  1. Do you know we still have fans who should know better who criticise him and make the naff comments that he is a good shotstopper but his distribution or taking crosses is poor. Yetagain he gained us points. he is a top class keeper in this leagure and we are fortunate to have him
  2. The Brighton fans are so excited about it that Im told they are going around kissing blokes in the street.......ohhhh
  3. i agree, if they adhere to the same rules for all then that is fine. If these rules had been in when Pompey went into admin they would now be gone. Mandaric would never have taken them on
  4. He had a little scoring run, still didnt justify his adoration from the fans IMO.
  5. Yep the way Mrs Moore fumbled that ball it must have just come out of the microwave it was so hot.
  6. If you were at the 76 cup semi final i doubt you'd say that. Lots of fights up the kings road that day
  7. Ronnie Corbett will be a happy chappy....as for the Charlton chairman I suspect he will crack open a bottle of bubbly
  8. To a degree you are right, I deteste the fact that Pompey have had these people own the club and that includes Milan. I would be ashamed if my club was likely to be owned by a Gaddafi. No doubt i would lose my morals but I dont thin k i could feel the same about the club and would be embarrassed. As for you lot wriggling out of it again, yes you are right i feel that justice shoudl be served and the dirty club you are have tarnished the name of English football too long. Jimmy Dickinson would turn in his grave. Start again and let the true spirit of Pompey come forth, where the true value of being Hampshire people shine through again, not begging the worlds underclass to pull you out of a hole using their dirty money.
  9. I feel that they constantly have avoided the drop and this is just more of the same.If they now forfeit paying their wages the Pl will look very foolish. Their desperation to keep the PL flag flying may cost them in thel ong run. That will be funny
  10. funny how this board is polluted with skates again
  11. the decent shift went missing as soon as he sprained his wrist signing his big fat contract.
  12. Like it felt we were bound to get Pompey in the cup, it seems inevitable they will come up smelling of roses. They have used every delaying tactic in the book and seem to have slipped from the grasp of true justice again. Football has been damaged yet again.
  13. No doubt Gaddafi 's son does not have the baggage of his father but should football not be ashamed that a person from this background may buy a British football club.Have we as a nation of football lovers lost our sense of what is right. i know it is easy for me to say 'I would not support a club with him as an owner' but Im fairly sure i would be ashamed. I dont wish for Pompey to end but THIS? Shame on football shame on all football lovers
  14. That is very fair StM but his name has been bandied about for quite some time, and I suspect a lot of people would not consider taking him on.....Pompey is a different thing , in fact |Im surprised he is not embarrassed talking to them!!!
  15. I was under the impression it was hard to make it watertight.
  16. If the Gaddafi family gut it the debts will not be a problem.
  17. it is a marriage that would be apt. Gaddafi running an English football club, it just adds to the complete shame our football is in the UK. I dont think if it was saints i could support them with his familyh involved/ It is ominous that Phil was not very dismissive of the news. Whats the betting the gardening leave will all of a sudden when they get financial safelty....Im must say I thought gardening leave was a thing of the past as it is against the treaty of rome etc due to restriction of trade.
  18. wasn't that a rumour a year or so ago? It would add up with a arms dealer being tied into them some time ago
  19. yep it was all over the news and reported in all the papers....not! i think it was frontline news in the Marc Jacobs and Storrie news
  20. the silence is eerie. The papers have not had any really bad news for them for 24hours. Only talk of another lamb to the slaughter to buy them. Has jacob come out with any other quote of reassurance? Have they put in for their appeal against the HMRC? So many questions..
  21. I must say I dont envy them. I remember the day when the people I knew at SMS told me there was nothing going to happen and that it looked like the end. I kept waiting and hoping but despair set in. All those deadlines drove me crazy. Thankfully we had a happy ending.
  22. Is it correct there was soething in the news of the World yesterday saying that the Pompey players will walkout en-masse if they do not get their wages this friday?
  23. Im not overjoyed, but you just knew ir was going to happen, and then the fumble by Mrs Moore
  24. If so then bring it on. It would be pefect for your club as the coffers would be filled, but it would be far better that you played your Northern twins Wigan. You may even get into a 5 figure attendance then.
  25. Wow that is some strong competition. Lenny henry ought to move down there he would have a cracking chance to seem funny, if so
