What news on ticket sales for the Luton match
OldNick replied to brianoneils slidingtackle's topic in The Saints
Iam a s/t holder and have been for years. My ticket on the Northam is subject to not being available for some cup games. Iam not pleased you have not got your usual ticket but considering the constant moaning you gave about a past chairman I would have thought you may have shrugged your shoulders and thought. 'I have now got a decent club again, this is just a slight inconvienience' then moved on. If you go to games with a mate then im sure you could sit together still. Why are some so terratorial about where you sit.....or are they special seats in a brilliant position? -

i tried by phone and told the system was down. I was sent to the online site and found that it couldnt get my £10 ticket (s/t discounted)through that. So I phoned again and a very helpful young lady did the purchase over the phone. -

What a load of precious moaners we have. The club did what they thought was best. i doubt many thought we would get more than a 12k crowd. To leave all the stands open with a low crowd would not be cost effective. Dont forget every extra penny spent leaving you primma donnas in 'your seat' comes out of any potential transfer kitty. I have purchased 3 tickets in block 31 today lol, read it and weap. -
why should good proper clubs like Eastleigh and Salisbury etc have to put up with rubbish clubs. Anyway I expect admin and 1 or 2 relegations will be the worst they suffer.

'Your father passed his assets of Beitar Jerusalem to Chainrai who had Daniel Azougy run the finances. Can you then tell me how you have never come across him and how out of a world population of nearly 7 billion, we seem to have the same 4 names appearing between Portsmouth and Beitar which should in no way be connected because as you say you had no idea who Al Faraj was?' That should be investigated by journos. To me it seems very underhand

I doubt that is true anyway

+1 and a bit

I wish i could be so confident. On that night there were a big crew of skates who would rarely gone to games. They were mindless and not a fair representation of the clubs fans. I still think they were out of order but I was not surprised. I never saw or heard what the Sky people said on the night. I did see the sky interviewer last night interviewing Ramsay and Song and he was begging them to praise Pompeys fight and kept trying to get them to say how they had fought.

I think that sums it up for me. I grew up not knowing of the hatred that was brewing. Yes I had been to the Dell for Sydenhams testimonial. I was allowed to go with my brother (Iwas 8 he was 12 ) oblivious to any hatred.A few fights and a firecracker but it seemed just like any other saturday in the late 60's. Time went on and saints were relegated and so we played them again. No real segregation at the Dell and there was the odd scrap. We then weent to FP boxing day (?) and I was with my dad in the stands in with the Pompey. Saints won 2-1 and saints fans were all around the ground mixing with the locals.'oh when the saints ' struck up and I, still naive to the rivalry, was singing it without any concern when this massive great neanathal put his face to mine and with a face twisted with hatred screamed 'Spastic' (now he may have just been summing me up perfectly). I was stunned and now awakened to the realisation that they had a problem with us. That was the last time our fans were not segregated and sadly it got worse and worse. The beauty of 84 was all the better for it, but it is sad that fellow Hampshire people cannot put it aside. I do think that if we are below then for 44 years , perhaps the hatred they show could well be the same our side as I see many on here who already feel the same way after 5 years! Pes and co , good luck i hope you still have a team to support, but I really hope the club get its full justified punishment for all the dodgy deals it seems to have been part of.

Meoooooow get it a bowl of milk. Not interested in what you say just nice to read your snarling and gnashing of teeth. All the arrogance has been wiped away. I hope you can hear my roar of laughter at your outpouring. You have no class unlike Pes and the others who stayed here. Of course you are in this situation because Gaydamek didnt pay back loans, yes, yes that must be the case. nothing to do you havinh Storrie and Hr spending like it was out of fashion to buy the success that the little club couldn't afford. it was obvious to a kid that you can't spend the way you were unless you had unlimited money.Don't forget that MM left the club and debts behind as well. As for you saying my 'glee' at your situation, I think I have not been gleeful. Only warmed that justice may be served. For the last 5 or so years it has seemed that Pompey would get away with anything. You had 1 administration and got no penalty, I have no pride that we also were responsible for small buisinesses losing money due to the football clunbs mismanagement. We took a massive penalty you walked away and came back stronger, without the football penalties to get where you were. now it seems some medicine is to be had, although i stil think that you could stay up if you keep the majority of your team

The PL now have the first PL club to have to face a winding up order. The brand has been damaged by this, add to that the other shenanigans and the PL may now act a bit more.
