If MLT wasn't linked to Pinnacle what would you think now?
OldNick replied to modern matron's topic in The Saints
He hasnt been let down yet Alps. It may fall apart but today is not over and there is time yet. MLT said last night it may take another 48hours. -

Yes MLT is a big plus. If Crouch has paid the deposit as has been stated elsewhere Pinnacle have no more to lose than any of the others who have spent resources getting where they are. -
I dont think he is wrong about being a very important day Farmer. I suggest he gets the money into the bank so wages and the HMRC can be paid. When does the players representative contact the Players association to talk about the clubs breach of contract with them for not paying their wages? that will be the next crack in the fans and players relationship as soon as that happens, something else we all cant afford.

when did you have that conversation about 3 months ago? Does he get his material from smokesignals or Jimmy Tarbucks old jokebooks.

I hate Heath the most, in fact Everton I dislike more than Pompey. My daughter is then going to marry o fan of thiers!!! It is amazing how a football match 25 years ago still hurts so much, no relegation has effected me as much. It was the total feeling of being cheated by a team who never deserved the win, by a last minute goal from a free kick that should never have been given.Add the Toffee noses, many were splattered. Sickening is the word, from the joy at fratton to the hell at Highbury

no Titwanc, we never get the full works

he only comes on here when he can brag. He has full bragging rights and will use every little bit of it.I find it amazing that they are being purchased by a billionaire but still get the green light to sell their star player who had just signed a contract. So instead of building a team they are selling top assets to weaken their charge into the CL.

Yeah but with Saints/Southampton if they promise the Queen Elizabeth we end up with number 27 paddle boat off the sports centre boating lake

the Farmer posted this morning that we would hear news today, and so perhaps there is time for good news

Whatever happens MLT will not be tarnished in my eyes if Pinnacle fails -
great so tell us the lottery numbers and we could win that and buy the club ourselves. Why hadn't we thought of that before
-
perhaps MJ's want to outdo the Pinnacle group. It must have been 'How can we top bringing Keegan back' to help stall for time 'I know lets bring back the Queen Mary'
-
I keep being told that the money is an offshore holding company. I dont know if that would be possible to get past the FL being so or in fact it is anywhere near the truth or possible. Perhaps the people who know about such things could enlighten.Would if this is the case, the peoples names behind it not be published?

hes dissolved more than a bathtub of acid

I wondered friday why Fry doesnt do a contract race. First past the post. We as a club cannot afford another 21 day exclusivity deal.
-
Thanks NSS and Ron for that. When the payment for the wages etc are made tomorrow then i will be able not to read such things into posts.I do hope you understand from your post where i got my assumption from

whats happened between you 2. you used to be real buddies on here?

if they are giving them out, can i have one

but it was fairly clear that it was only going to be 50-50. Im sure bournemouth Rotherham, Leeds would have said the same, as for poor Luton!!!

did you enjoy Dubai? I dont know player loyalty just isnt what it was

True but actually coming out of it in the best condition is paramount. The days are going on,the risk of further penalties are getting closer. It is a mess, and since friday I notice that the sentiment is becoming more and more depressed.I hold my hand up as being one of those, reading someone like Fitzhugh losing his faith worries me as well. NSS who is a friend of TL has put up a couple of posts today. Trying to read between the lines it seems that Pinnacle based their offer on us getting the -10 back after receiving legal advice. That alone seems madness to me as surely they should have factored in worse case scenario. That would mean they have either gone back to Fry and tried to offer less, which may in turn mean that the creditors may not then agree to a CVA (-25) or are in negotiation with the FL and asking them to not give them any more sanctions for not having a CVA if they accept the -10. I cannot believe they based their offer on not getting a -10. As I say it is me reading between the lines and so be wrong.
