Not a ramble and very easy to understand Ta.

I misread I thought it was confined

He should have been confirmed ages ago....ohhh Pinnacle's clients
-
I agree, in fact if it was not for the war they wouldnt have been so successful after it as all the servicemen down there had to play there.
-
it is a good read. I also think that i liked the swipe by Fry about 'at the right interlectual level' He is too good to be a administrator getting him in as chairman.
-
I think deeply about things, it can be a failing but also has served me well in my business and personal life. If you can close your mind to such issues then fine, but the clubs survival is not yet assured
-
I think most of us do.I am confident enough in my assessment of how things went to not worry about what comes out. I have always known RL's failings and i wont be surprised at some of the stupid things he did, but I think some will get disarmed when they see some of the naff things osme of theo thers did as well

Clapham I have enjoyed reading your take on the administration. It has helped me ease my worries and then give me more. Would you say from the administrator side opf the fence that you are confident that things will go forward or are you concerned that the people who have made the offer may walk as it is starting to take too much time. I do understand that they would have invested x amount and so will perhaps stay for the long haul but I hate to think they throw their hands up in despair and walk.

Duncan you are getting back to yor best again. That is more even handed than I have seen for a long time. It comes down to us all making misjudgements and if you and others decide time is up on the division at the club then we can all move on.I have tried to do so, last week with my LM thread (which was met with a little scepticism) and wish that fans like yourself also try and bring this to an end so the new start is fresh.

and you put some on. Its like seeing the cast of Olivers hungry workhouse friends on a hunger strike when i see you. Theres more meat on a Quorn burger than there is on you. Thanks for the info though. My daughters getting married in July and so I need to look a little better for the photos

NC last night in their statement Pinnacle said 'If they recommend their client to proceed' or words to that effect. Pinnacle must be there giving a fianl recommendation and so are major influences on the investors decision.

IYHO of course Lol

That is fine but he knew the takeoever was not going through before the end of the season. I dont think it is as straight forward as you say but the politics at SFC have been so dirty for so long who really knows. G&D appointment seems to be put down as temporary when I thought that they had been given the go ahead, did they speak about a 3 year plan? In hindsight and as a fans hero it is good to be associated with NP at present, lets forget the less savoury. The echo's version needs to be totally free to be even handed in all this , only time will tell who it nails its flag to.

Just think how i feel. I dont know the players their names or ability. I then have to conjure up team spirit and a plan to counteract Dubais obvious cheating and underhand tactics. To be fair the kick in will be a quick foresight into my chances of being the winning manager. -
Nice one

i read on here that Pinnacle were the front for a large local property developer. Who might that be , are there any major players in the area. Not £20m ones but 500m+ ones?
-
I had hoped to use your footballing brain but sadly science already had first dibs and the miniscule bit left in the corner of the jar is of little use, so 'go Phil and Ottery's dream team'
-
That is fair but when was the 3 year plan talked about? If LC was holding back not giving him a contract as Fulthorpe was there, why would he talk about a 3 year plan for the same reason.? It is not so cut and dried. RL obviously didnt have any thoughts of keeping NP but i doubt that was in LC's mind when he didnt offer an extended contract. It all doesnt add up and I dont think all the facts are coming to light in an even handed way. I would suspect both sides of the fence are going to get some shocks as time goes on and so I would say to any who are pointing that they be a little careful as it could backfire.

I would make it every 5 yards, because when you get tacked you will go 3 yards in the air add to that your forward momentum...maybe every 6 yards. -
I have forgotten him, it is just people on here keep reminding me about him all the time. I want the club to be more united and move on. I would be very suspicious of the Echo's piece as I suspect there are going to be bits hidden away.Until we get independent people looking at the figures and minutes we will get biased views. As for the football team thing, you would be welcome to be my No2, as that is what lots of people say you are...kidding.

That is a revelation. I cant recall any player ever getting a contract that long at SFC before. For all the rubbish RL did I cant see why he would have sanctioned that. Money was his number 1 friend so why would hewaste it like that, there must be more to it.

As the manager and thinking of players welfare are there fluids provided, ie water at halftime etc? I know we have lots of youngsters playing and they will have their packed lunchs and bottle of Ribena but what about for our older players? -
Im sorry i adore MLT as a person and player , but there is no way he is cut out to be chairman IMO. If he does bacome so I will back him but what experience does he have of doing that. As for the original part of the thread seeing the picture above tells me he is not able to be a kit man humping the stuff around again. If the club becomes cash rich then employ him again maybe. but as kit man?? If it means somebody losing a job to re-employ him that also has moral implications as well. It is great saying take the bloke on but at who's cost? Would we be happy to see somebody lose their job for him to return? Life is not always so easy as lets bring him back.

I was never committed enough to be a fully fledged Rupette. I never went Wilde like some either. Iam in a cynical line of business where I meet lots of fantacists, braggers and just downright liars (not the police or politics..only kidding) and so am sceptical of peoples intentions. We have gone down the road of administration that many had championed, I feel comfortable that we at least will come out of the other side as there is an offer on the table. Who that will be or if their intentions are honourable only time will tell but i doubt it is Salz/Fulthorpe, as they have had over a year to get themselves ready and couldnt do so.
