Kelvin Davis JE and DMG, I think I also supported Lloyd as well.Funnily the best players in the squad, and you criticised. I think Im happy to stand by my judgement.
  2. The Administrator is there but I dont know who is sat with.
  3. I dont think its him as the bloke you are talking about is a lot fatter, and a bit of a Harry Enfield look a like
  4. but AL is far too lightweight and doesnt have a shot on him and not strong enough in the air.he played far better saturday than for a long time. i just hope the team can get some wins to keep us up
  5. Again fair points made but cut price tickets and bank holidays always attract more fans. You cannot easily base a business on that though.I would expect any person putting in an offer would factor in that the attendancesw would be 12-15k and any more is a bonus.

Fair comment, I was undeer the impression you had boycotted the whole season. Apologies if Iam wrong.

You wouldnt have seen them play anyway as you were in your boycott, it didnt matter if it was Ronaldo or would you have gone then? I wonder if it would be best that RL was still there if all the returnees wish to do is criticise the players. Wotton is not a star player i'll give you that but he is what you need when you need to grind out results.he has not had a consistant run ion the side to get a understanding with the rest of the players.Safri was a better player, but decided to leave as a last payday.

A will to win, not give up like a load of posters on here. It is funny every time when we win its because they were #### or on the beach, if we lose it was because our players dont care or are ####
  9. Wes you and quite few others turned your back on the club. That was your perogative but I dont see you are any morally higher than the fans who dont go as a steward was rude to them once. It is all personal choice. The actions of some meant the club was starved of funds, add to that decisions by Lowe LC MW and all the rest of the goons who have had control and that is why we find ourselves where we are now. What happens if the next crew is not to your taste? Another boycott perhaps. I didnt even think to look up to the directors box as it doesnt matter to me that much.i would love to have the power to eject Askham and all the others, i cant and so just get on with supporting the club.Doesnt make me a better fan though. I myself dont gree that there were more than a few hundred who would be so put off by Lowe , just a case of poor football. What was the crowd last season on a bank holoday, i doubt if it was less in fact it was more. If that is the case can we say that the reduced amount is due to fans staying away as Lowe had gone? Of course not but it could be seen as that if you use the same logic
  10. the problem was alos that fans said if he came back they didnt want his smug face in the media or commenting on us all the time.He did that and then still there is criticism for respecting those wishes.he has gone and we have a win to enjoy, a rarity this season

He was an integral part of a winning team and with a winning mentality.
  12. i like your poll you aint a spin doctor are you.My user name is on there and Im a definite NO. Lol
  13. If they want us, they want us. if they are not sure whether a £1m or so makes the difference i cant see that helps us long term except for surviving until the next crisis
  14. You're wrong. A few on here who IMO are dreamers may well support him but I doubt that many would even consider him.I dont even think he has managed in the lower leaqgues has he? If so he hasnt made a name for himself. Holmes would be higher up the pecking order and that is not worth thinking about.
  15. It was a goal against Doncaster that has just been awarded back to him i think he said. 14 for the season but that probably includes cup games. Still a good return from a raw talent.
  16. Thats whatis wrong with modern fotball. How clubs will survive longterm is going to be a problem.Once a decent side club completely folds it could start a chain. It may well be us to be the first, if not sooner or later 1 will as football cannot rely on moneyed people to bale them out time and again. 20 years time and we could see just 20 full time professional clubs and very regionalised.
  17. Thankyou Master Bates , Mrs McMenemy has already had the picture blown up and framed and is marching down to the stadium to get it hung in the Boardroom.

he has been part of getting the squads togetherness. Together with JE and KD BWP they have a real kinship
  19. thats where you are wrong.I agree some will not but many will. You only have to look at when a new Ferrari is going to be released and there is a waiting list. How country estates are put to sealed bids etc. if a wealthy person really wants something they get it.
  20. Talk about being revisionist! A 6% shareholding never was enough to stop a take over.No investor wanted to pay a price for the shares to tempt them to sell.We had/have interested parties who are too worried counting the pennies rather than knocking all others out of the way with an impressive bid. Any investro who has to worry if it is £5m too much is hardly going to get us into dreamland, more like poundland.
  21. We didnt have the ball in the right areas to get the ball in and Lawrence had his arms around BWP so he couldnt move when we had the corner. Armstrong idea of playing 3 centre backs need quick full backs and athletic centre backs and so a ball down the channels would cause us all types of trouble. Sounds good on the radio but in practice not so easy.
  22. He's known as fat Les I think you will find, not sure Ive ever seen him in a tee shirt though
  23. This is madness, TW being our manager, this has got to be a wind up. Add that to Armstrong making his play on Radio Hants. He couldnt inspire players as he cant even inspire me and I thought he was a wonderful player for us.
  24. Do you know what, I didnt even think to look to the directors box today. Does anyone know if Askham was there?
