You must also give some of the credit to Wotte. As I have been saying the mood in the camp has improved and there is a new togetherness. His decision to play British style has made a difference as well.
  2. Did you go today WSS? If so I cant see why you would make such a mad comment.
  3. Euell and Saga playing as 2 up front makes the world of difference.Euell was brave and worked hard Saga scored 2 great goals.Thne opposition defence got no time and were made to panic.DMG worked chard and played some great balls.Lonegan made 2 of the best saves Ive seen in ages. The team as whole showed the passion and desire we need. Wotte made a good team selection and got the tactics right. Was it just me that felt the team actually knew what they were doing and were comfortable with actually having tactics and organisation. THe fans were fantastic and there was no dissent in the ground at all and so hats off to the anti Lowes. You showed wit the march and conduct in the ground that you are more than a thoughtless rabbble. Good to meet Westender and Roger on the day as well, at least I can put a face to the debate now.
  4. When were these things said then Um.If it is current about him and Wotte now it will be of great surprise. My info from the dressing room is very positve, as you know as I have been relaying that for a few games.

well you and the bloke on Radio Hants are definately in the minority.
  6. As I have alluded to during the week Wotte was not as involved in the team as some would wish to think. I had relayed that the team were together and determined.Thankfully it has transmitted onto the pitch. Now they must carry it on
  7. But that paragraph is not correct. It does not take into account the damage done during his break in tenure. Please do not fall for the thought that the Wilde bunch and what followed has nothing to do with our financial problems and so the ones that then go onto the pitch. And yes, before Um says the major financial loss is down to being relegated, that is true but a fifth of teams go through that in the Pl every year, only a few are fireproof from that. You should react as things and conditions are at the time.Wilde bunch and what followed did not do so. I wonder how Askham views the outburst, after all I think I am right in saying it was him who invited KW onto the cosy closed shop that was our directors box in the first place
  8. The vent of our spleen has always been aimed at the wrong person IMO. I think you have in principle got it right Farmer
  9. He was part of the Dutch revolution but only was in the background as jan was in control.Wotte stood back and let him get on with it.Isnt that how it is supposed to work, the manager takes the decision but may listen to other advice. Wotte is now in control and so lives and dies by his decisions made.
  10. How about giving him a little time before condemning him.His first game at home saw a march with his name on placards telling him to go.Very nice of us indeed.I suggest he would have little time for that group of fans and so knows he cant win them over. The rest he perhaps wishes to work with.
  11. The Plymouth game was at SMS. The team was supposed to have been selected by G&D and so as we lost it is put down as their defeat, had we won of course.....
  12. Well is it positive if you dont agree?? im all for the marches if the protest is peaceful and the support like last time is carried on in the ground. I dont know of many if any 16 year olds who have a grasp of what running a large business entails. He no doubt has a bit about him to do what he has done, but what is he expecting or promising if the march should all of a sudden make the CEO leave? What do the marchers really think they are marching for? What alternative have they guarentees of?The LC soundbites sound good, the clubs shares are now at very low levels, his 2m surely could be added to to get to the £4m the club is now worth by the share price.Or is he also using the fans so he can get the power for nothing, similar to how IMO the Wilde bunch went about it. Many promises but no suibstance.MC LM and LC could now buy the club as the value has dropped dramatically, will they tell the matchers that the are going to do so? If they did i may also join as at least they would at last be putting their money where their mouth is.
  13. but Alpine you know it's true. I doubt any of the grown men would march behind a spotty kid other than at our quaint club. He is doing what he feels is right and so good luck to him, but it comes to something when the clubs finest have to rely on a 16year old lad.As i put on a different post, I recall when i was at school all the Wolfie Smiths who were going to change the world, now I see them driving in gas guzzlers and paying their staff the bare minimum.Lol
  14. So RL is not costing the club fans after all, well done Rupert and Wotte getting the fans to vote with their feet
  15. The ones who are most uptight about the comments are upset already.I doubt that many of the fans who are ambliviant to the anti feeling care too much. They would also see the fact that a 16 year old boy running the campaign as a little comical.(not that Im against himand good luck to him) I recall a lot of my schoolfriends being Wolfie Smiths and wanting to change the world. It often makes me chuckle to see some of those same people driving gas guzzlers now and wasting energy without thinking as they drive to work and pay low rates to their employees..
  16. i'm not looking forward to tomorrows game either. The thought of Saints fans turning on the club and each other fails to excite me.As soon as the RL chants start it is time to leave, not in support of him but just as it is not what my weekend relaxation is about. May also say the fans who say that RL is stopping fans going the anti RL atmosphere and potential of aggro is also stopping fans from attending so the anti's are costing the club money in more ways than 1
  17. I thought you'd be brighter than that.Somebody who wants the softer female side of the club to come out and then suggest getting the fns to sing a song calling the manager a w##### in Dutch. Lol
  18. But to be fair the fans from day 1 here were not happy with RL. This was due I believe as there was a campaign from a politically motivated group of fans who made the reverse takeover an issue. Now i do not condone it but me and 99.9% of fans didn not understand the reverse takeover and would have been blissfully happy not to know. The rumours of Gavin Davies etc are a myth and so a vocal group of fans made the tenure difficult from the beginning. The cok ups have been just the same and their fanbase more supportive, whether they are right is another thing.Perjhaps again as you put they had been through the bad times and so accepted the bad more gracefully. We are like Johnnie rich boy who has had the safety of nannies all his life and now thrashing about like a spoilt child as she has gone because dady has gone bankrupt. We were spoilt into believing we were fireproof and a big club.As much as i hate to say it PFC123's post is probably the most realistic on here.
  19. Im not saying there wasnt a will to suceed before but Wotte has added something to the dressing room.I have said this before a couple of games and of course it hasnt shown on the pitch.I can only relay what I have been told and whilst i was very bemused at Wottes initial appointmnet and said so on here, the reports I have from the camp have been very favourable and the original impression about Mr Chocolate have now changed as he has worked properly with him. A good indication is how the team fights for the manager. The last few games whilst fans have been dismissive i see that the tram have tried to go for the points and been caught out late 2 but the will has been there.
  20. They have the same reasons to want the change of chairman though.Due to not keeping their manager and then apponting badly, that is the crux of why the fans dislike or argue why we went down.
  21. It is not me rewriting history. i can tell you Wotte stood back and let Jan do as he did. Jan was his own man and did it his way, Wotte has come in and changed things to do it his way.He hasnt long to get things right, but as i said before i know things have changed in the dressing room and that there is a will to suceed. i hope my renewed faith since Wottes appointment comes to pass, it better do or we will be L1 next season
  22. OB I share your sentiments (except not regretting the Hoddle thing) but there is a very large percentage of Saints who dont deserve the club you are envisaging. Of the marchers I would suggest 99% are doing it as they hurt at what is happening to the club (even though a lot would not understand the need for financial prudence or budgetting) the rest are attention seekers , whiners and not very bright.
  23. To be fair yes Wotte has been here 2 minutes in real terms,, so was it fair to immediately have slogans and banners up against him on the first march? Would you expect him to show any inclination to hug you after that? The fans on the march are well meaning and true Saints fans the same as myself who is not on the march.Wotte maybe should be more diplomatic and have siad DW's words, he hasn't and so the fans who are on the march have taken offence.I doubt that will make any difference to Wotte's popularity as they were campaigning against him as well last time. I now know my weekend relaxation /enjoyment is likely to be spoilt tomorrow by all the RL nonsense.
  24. Wes I suggest you know the implications of feeling physically threatened to MC compared to say LC saying it. It makes RL look like a woman beater and so carries much more weight in my book. A claim like that can only fuel a image to serve whose purpose? I picked up on the claim as i found it uncomfortable to think that MC felt as though RL was likely to pin her to a wall with a fist in her face threatening her. Surely that needs to be corrected. What is your understanding of feeling physically threatened?
