  1. I will always cherish the feeling after the SU game.it is one of those games that have been as exciting as winning the cup.Last day V West Ham, last day home to Wimbledon, Dellhurst park etc but i can't still forget how we so nearly from a point of safety nearly got relegated. i do want to go over old ground again re GB but if you took out the G&D period i suggest that his points tally was better. NP got out of jail in the last few minutes of the season i hope Wotte can do the same but just a bit quicker although he has the harder job IMO
  2. perhaps but I like to point out that Cinderella is not a virgin
  3. I think none of the protagonists came out with any credit. Both sides seem to me approached the meeting set to wind up the other. If MC felt threatened or uncomfortable I think that is wrong for her to feel so.It also makes it perfectly clear she would not be able to cope with any major job at the club, as we all know the fans or others can be very threatening.(not that I feel she has intention of doing so0
  4. I hope that we dont spiral down further like we did last season
  5. To be fair could he also put alongside it how much LM paid for shares and how much he took in wages. £400 and sold for £200,000 + I think the Richards article said let alone all the ambassador money.RL I assume was a full time member of staff when he took his salary. He did get his severence pay but that was down to the Wilde bunch hoodwinking the fanbase.
  6. So a year ago we were 8 points above the relegation places., happy days.
  7. Thanks Duncan , I feel you should not have given the itimation that RL has done things of a 'threatening nature' if you cant elaborate. It could lead to many mistruths. The 'with respect' never worried me because i doubt that it would be pertinent anyway. It is always good when somebody is big enough to apologise on here, again I dont see it as a problem but Jonah may do. can you tell us was Mrs McMenemy primed ready to ask the question or was it completely a surprise to you all that the question was asked?
  8. The real problem is Wotte has declared war but the majority on here have surrendered. Good job the sun aint out as a lot of you would get sunburnt armpits.
  9. Yeah sorry i forgot
  10. ....
  11. Its my pastime watching Saints why give that up after all the years just because the boardroom is not that great.
  12. yep with Lm in the background adding his bit Lol
  13. At least he has owned up that the club have needed a good physical centre back. He may as well not bother doing interviews if the fans on here are anything to go by.It was truthful and to the point.
  14. I know Lowe thinks the world of himself but I didnt realise he also signed himself. I think you can change that to Rasiak ,Um
  15. Um surely like the way Hoos was preparing to buy future transfers by staged payments I know that the sales in some cases were the same.eg Walcott who we know LC went cap in hand to get the payments in at much reduction early. I agree if Lowe signed Rasiak it was an expensive deal, but if that is a riticism why then do we have the other posts saying he didnt try and invest, it cuts both ways.
  16. Duncan this may have been lost in other posts, could you answer these as it is disconcerting news
  17. 2 queries Um, So the first season down saw costs reduced, who do you put that down to? What was Plan B the next summer?
  18. apart from Fuller and replace him with Hoddle and you are there for me
  19. As tme goes on and he holds on I get the feeling he will stay. Ihave been told that the protests dont faze him.i myself wouldnt need the aggro but he seems to get inspiration from it and almost then wants to stay to prove people wrong.Reverse psycology sing his name and he'd walk...only kidding
  20. So the minutes are not accurate. I can see why fans find it upsetting.RL certainly knows how to get under some peoples ribs,I suispect he knew exactly what he was doing and it probably knocked the anti's off their pre arranged track. Clever really, perhaps not required although just as needless as bringing up about a picture for the boardroom
  21. Thanks for digging that out Um The staged payments for the other buys are even more scary when Hone would have seen us £17 m down the year before. It makes the spending even more reckless than I had thought.
  22. 2 or 3 people have said the same to me, almost that we expect her to make a 'mira cle'recovery and so another five years of Hello contract. Max Clifford as her agent also makes me a little cynical
  23. Should she not die in dignity for her childrens sake? I myself would not wish to have my parents death be filmed for the world to see, so that kids can watch it on Youtube etc.Something that will live with them forever and will be shown to them inadvertently in the future. The lady is dying and so Im very sorry for that but i believe that she may be driven by cynical people behind her to her last breath to get a little more money from her. After all she is not the brightest around and she may not be getting the best advice. It is a sick idea and the days of the Victorian circus are still with us now
  24. I think Weston arranged for him to become a registered user to protect his anomoninity.
  25. This is where I have issues with your stance at times Um. Surely you agree that the club after 27years of being in the PL would be structured in a way that it would have far higher costs than the majority who have yo-yo ed over a period of time.Contracts would still to be honoured and of course you would understand that we couldnt dismantle the PL set up straight away just in case we did go back up in the first season, that would be stupid. Therefore a little leeway could be allowed for that in those figures. I also thought that there was a war chest waiting before Wilde turned up and some was spent on Rasiak, but it is a grey area when and who did buy him
