  1. Are you Stewart(stuart) who phoned 606 the other day and Radio Hants?
  2. I couldnt go last night but have read the posts on the game and the little faith i had in the change has gone today.I was told of the players finding a new found confidence and my collegue was sincere, I haven't tried to contact again and will speak later in the week.
  3. I was snowed in last night and couldnt get to teh game.I watched a bit of Holloway on Sky and he was saying that saints had 2-4 chances early on but could see that SU had a belief that their position in the league gave them.He said he could see Saints losing their way.that was 30 minutes in.I could then see what was going to happen and didnt turn it back on until just before 10 and caught the goals, not knowing the score, when it said and in the 90th minute and Surman scored I was disappointed but thought a point better than nothing and then it carried on with SU in possession and the worst dawned on me. My friends info that the team were buoyant and things were inded better under Wotte had given me confidence that we were on the way up. That faith is now seen by me to be misguided after reading the many reports on the game.I did think w3e would lose last night as it always seems if you do anything to get a game played it backfires. Very down today.
  4. We couldnt get there as we had to turn around as we had a sudden large fall of snow and couldnt get out of our road
  5. Lol, GB was appointed by RL and kept on by the Wilde bunch and LC. NP may be a god to you but he is not to me.He did an adequate job and took us very close to relegation. From a person who views us from afar and saw that when he came in we were closer to the play offs and when he managed his last game for us we stayed up on the last day , they would perhaps think that he was not thebees knees. Yes he is doing very well at Leicester but that is no guarentee he'd do any good anywhere else. The fans on the march saturday did it with dignity and are universally respected for that, but dont get all precious if the rest of the world are not that interested.
  6. its snowing quite heavily up in Salisbury and so if it keeps up that will stop a few travelling down.
  7. For the first trime in years the New York hotels are prepared to do deals due to the credit crunch. Id say go to Boston. not too far to travel from NY. Washington is suppose to be great as well.
  8. funny how Ho has disappeared.I always said he disappears when the going gets tough and he can't take stick. He's probably been on holiday again Lol. sadly this post will bring him back as he cant not bite back. Pompey transfer gossip threads by him seem short supply as well.
  9. i have no idea who brought the players in.i look ar it as a club not chairman.Powell came in under Lowe as for the others ? GB signed a lot of them and he was bridged between RL and the Wilde bunch and LC. Luketti Wright left of course, there are bound to be others we have forgotten.
  10. How many have left? Quite a few went in the summer and early season so I expect there is a balance. The wage bill would have definately been slashd, although the return of Saga and Rudi staying may change that a little.the ones in will have contracts that are not full of add on I suspect, not that i have any info on that.
  11. Im not sure.Im perhaps saying that the organisation is more structured and the players may just understand a little more what is required of each one of them.
  12. We dont know what Sisu were likely to offer the club and longterm they may not be any good.At present they have given some financial stability but our fans would not have accepted them not spending like they have at Coventry
  13. They still havent performed that well, Jay Tabb and Mifsud have gone who were 2 of their better players.Id wait before getting too carried away about them . Why have they got rid of them?If they were so cash rich.
  14. they are a hedge fund, I think thye may like a lot of them licing their wounds at present
  15. He was seen play as far as im aware.I think a few would have seen hm in the rpre season friendly when we played Stoke.
  16. I respect that and at least you have watched him before making a judgement.Disappointing summary though.
  17. It wasnt me
  18. corky morris -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A post by Corky Morris on the Pulis thread, My middle nipper has been training up at Stoke & I get to find out a fair bit of info about them even if I did take the **** out of Delap & the fact that someone is Southampton managed to sell Higgy a Lincoln Navigator! The coaches there reckon that Pulis can actually play. The problem has been he seems to be constantly injured. He had a hard time because he was the managers son, but they reckon he could do a job in the Championship. I suppose we should wait & see, but it does appear a very odd signing. Perhaps the bottom line would be best to follow, or do you want him to fail?
  19. oh damn it means i have ot go out in the cold tonight
  20. I think the delay was down to medicals,he i believe was part of the deal.
  21. yeah but it also means somebody has sold 50000
  22. So without seeing the man play you have already categorised him! Some people fit in certain clubs dont.i agree the ststs you put up do question his ability but why prejudge? have we not learned from doing so with many players overe the years.I believe he was only signed as a makeweight in the Davies deal and it was some way of avoiding sell on fees or the like.
  23. this is from someone who was xalling people thick earlier. It is so funny. Tell us how many times you have seen him play? I myself have never seen him play and so i will hold my judgement until doing so. After i have i may agree with your assessment.
  24. Coming fro the expert on the subject.Lol . The person who thinks that administration is a good thing.
