  1. We are the best forum in the footballing world...that drives away well meaning fans.To me Torbay only posted in good faith a 'rumour' why we are now questionng his motives I really dont know.
  2. I would like to have the option to stop posts that are positive going to fans like yourself who are basically 5th columnists.Nothing can ever be seen as positive to you and I post them so that the privilage I have of knowing a few scraps can be picked up by normal everyday fans who dont see all is bad. They also may like to believe that things MAY improve. We should have gone unbeaten in 3 , apart for the fact that we went for it (something that i applaud, although would have taken a point) and got hit by a counter attack in the last minute. The posts where i put in the bits i hear from within should be taken as they are meant to be , imforming some people on here who might like to know the mood in the camp.I suggest that you keep your views to yourself if they are only likely to rubbish or erode fans morale when I give any insights into the thoughts of the squad. The squad was upbeat and raring to go before the Watford game, whether this BWP and DMG thing will upset the club only time will tell.
  3. Its not a headline as I would see one.It is a claim, I susoect the victim will be pictured sitting in his frontroom looking glum and butter wouldnt melt in his mouth after being viciously attacked by the 2 players and a kebab. If they have done so they are wrong, but I myself would not confront 2 of our players and mouth off to them about their job in their free time. They are paid as footballers not as councillers or PR people as a second job. Again I find it amusing the fans who thought it OK to attack stewards and fight with their own fans seem to me to be the most outraged about this.
  4. yep and they were baying for him to be England manager!
  5. I have spoken to a few and like myself they say they will. I myself would like the Northam to relocate to the Chapel and make a proper Kop end. we must be the only club without a real 'End' for the team to kick to. Our singing support is diluted in small pockets. To have one whole end would be awesome and only a small percentage of fans need to be next to the away fans to hurtle abuse at. The Chapel if it had the vocla support all congregated there would be a great sight to behold and the team would have a 12th man to bring the team home. Are there any other clubs where the fans are more intent to sit by the away supporters rather than stand altogether to really crank up the atmopsphere???
  6. I would have felt so, but he still may have failed. It is a question that is impossible to answer, but i believe he would have got better results at SMS, but away?????
  7. I know i wont turn my back on the club and as I well know Im a self inflicted victim. Therefore i will probably buy an early bird as it will save money.Although as i missed a couple of games thins seaosn it would probably have been cheaper to buy match to match. The problem is I like the people who sit near me and dont wish to risk not being where I normally am. Early bird of course may nit be offered this season. The club may say they 'to be fair' will wait and see what division we are in when being cynical they know that to offer early bird they would have to lower prices in case we go down.Wheras if we stay up the admission charges will be the same as now.
  8. Mills Crainey Baird Bale left for more money, at least 3 of them have hardly got much further in their careers by doing so.
  9. I will make my judgement and take the action that is fair by me.I did the same in the relegation season.I will go next season and if the prices are set then I will be quids in. If the club set prices at a quid fans would moan that thye should be 80p. I went and watched Bournemouth v Luton and that was dire in quality and it was £16 in the away section which is tucked away by a corner flag on the side, therefore £20ish quid per game would seem the going price in L1.
  10. Take no notice Its a good thread and whilst Im sceptical it would be great if true
  11. you aint seen Jackson. If he is a big property developer Jacksons farm is not that big a pull.
  12. Jacksons arm is not that big a piece of land though is it?
  13. I spoke to a friend and was told that they were disappointed the game v Watford did not go ahead as the team were really up for it.The team (squad)are close and whilst it was a sickener to lose against SU the mood has become more determined. The team went for a win instead of holding on for a point as they thought it was there for the taking. All stops were pulled out to get the game played as it was thought that it was a good time tp play SU. I suspect many of the more downbeat fans will criticise this post but again i got the sense that there is a mood change at the club and indeed they can survive. They know they have 15 games left and they will hit a good patch that will bring us out of the dolldrums. I said to them that the Forest game would be enormous but the feeling was we'd be out of it by then. I do understand that I was given hope before the SU game and was upbeat but the peole i talk to are not full of optimism without good reason.
  14. Its sad to see S?T holders deserting us.I myself will look at it in a financial way.I know i will go whatever league we are in, therefore taking advantage of early bird is saving money and so 2 tickets are going to be sold as long as the deal is fair.
  15. I would love this to be true. It is interesting that the TV has just been signed and it would be noticed that the deal is recession proof (tv rights wise anyway) the thought of buying inot a club that could realisitcally go up to the PL (when it was managed correctly with a sound financial base)with its infrastructure and fanbase might make us a tempting target.
  16. Could be the case but as NP is a demi god surely any good business man would have had him tied to a contract. Afterall he is so good there was never a doubt that we were going to be relegated surely...
  17. nobody mentioned NP. That squad should keep them up.If they went down I suspect they would be in terrible financial trouble. As for Ho he only came on when he could brag.He has disappeared for weeks as i said he would as the chips are down. He will come back when we are nealy out of it and they have turned the results around. No doubt he has been 6 weeks away on holiday and couldnt get on, lol. Will he be able to resist these taunts???
  18. I can live with that as it is all opinions.i will not accept he was totally at fault. If you go back to the horror of the relegaation season and the loss of 2 goal leads, a player not taking the ball to the corner flag when the points were ours, missing an open goal at WBA in a 6 pointer, players getting sent off for gross studidity these were events that were just as culpable as leaving Wigley in charge. He was replaced with plenty of time to get us out of the mire.
  19. That may be the case but we would also lose any player of any value for peanuts.AL, AS KD and any other player would be sold to pay back the banks. We would thne be left with the schoolboys.I dont understand how people can wish for a doomsday scenario, just to feel that it has cost RL a few quid.he will be financially secure whatever we as fans would be left with ashes and what wqe have now is Utopia compared to what we would have.
  20. but it wasnt a rolling contract. It had a cut off. If LC had been so shrewd he would have got NP signed up sharpish
  21. I find it also amusing fans who are so outraged that a player might have hit a Saints fan and some of those same people were trying to defend fans attacking their own fans and stewards.
  22. He is part of the cause of our woes. You miss the point and cant see it is not JUST down to him.
  23. IF I find it far fetched. It has come from one anonymous person. We certainly have a death wish trying to stir up anti player feeling.David moyes showed how to deal with these things.treat them with the contempt they deserve
  24. what about LM and Keith Wiseman doing the same as they sold their shares? Did LC get severance pay? how about every footballer who has left the club after taking loyalty bonusses. It goes on and on.
  25. Well all I can say is my friend was one of the owners of Bournemouth when he was there and the staff commented when i was there to watch a game, that he was the politest nicest lad there and they adored him. They would have taken him back in less than a heartbeat. As for the so called assault, well i think it is laughable and just a set up.I dont think we have bneen told where it happened,.If I was a skate it would be so easy to ruin players when you have sites like this.Immediately it is true because it is a fans favourite scapegoat who is said to be involved.
