Those prices were reduced weeks ago weren't they?

it will be sold to the highest bidder, it is hardly a secret. We have a few builders developers connected with the club and they are not all mates. It hasnt at present got massive value anyway has it?

Wilde and Lowe have just been escorted from the premises
OldNick replied to exit2's topic in The Saints
John you are in fantasy land, if they wanted to shred anything they would have done it before now.I have yet to see evidence that they were 'asked to leave' They had no reason to hang around, they probably had to go off and get their bid organised. i tell you i wouldnt be surprised if they will be back.I hate to think of all the strife we will go through yet again if so. As for any wrong doing I think they are clean in a financial /legal sense. -
its train crash scenario again. I hope the fans returning will stay with us next season as well.I have my doubts, unless we start winning more than we lose it will only ever be the hardcore who turn up.

I agree at least then it could be proved one way or other. -
I myself don't wish illness on anyone but to call Danny Wallace a great player for Saints does stretch it a little IMO. I dont want to get into a slanging match about him either, but at the same time I will not let fans knock the club as a player who didnt think twice to drop us may not have had the costs waived. I always had the impression a player had to serve a club for 10 or more years to earn a testimonial, correct me if Im wrong but did Danny do so? I also cannot recall when DW testimonial was, were we in the PL s5till or had we been relegated? In the clubs parlous state i would have thought the club whoever was in charge were correct in making sure they were not out of pocket. It was not RL's money it was money I and fans had paid in through the club and expect it to be used on the running of the club.As for charity i myself like to give to naiomi house childrens hospice, these are poepole who sadly dont have the chance ever to do what others get the privilage to do.

by the picture from the Echo it hardly seems that Lowe was being escorted from SMS, perhaps a little bit of artistic licence is being used. -
He keep Chewton Glen running along nicely, they loved the champagne dinner and accomodation bills rolling in when B'mouth were in admin.

I can tell you 1 thing there are plenty of employees at the club who think he is a good boss. Some cant stand him of course. -

when you say escorted off the premises, do you mean marched out and hushed away or that he was joined by a staff member/members who waved him off? i would not like to be the person if it is a member of the club staff if they have rubbed his nose in the ground and then he returned.. i have a horrible feeling that there will be a sting in the tail, now if the lot of them are humiliated then that will be something to behold. -
Im putting up defence of the football club I support that so many love to turn the knife into. Even explayers are there picking over the ahses.i wish the club had said no to the testimonial as all has ever come from it is negative vibes. I also have a horrible gut feeling we haven't seen the end of Rl and so i wouldnt feel too smug if i were you.
-
Oh no I expect the Claus testimonial will be brought up as well.DW left us and went for the big pay day, why didnt he get OT to play the game? Probaably as not many would have turned up and so would have made much less. The club should not have to lose out and so all costs should be deducted first. Dont Celtic charge a massive amount to even turn up to play a game like that.Nobody seems to worry then. As for Sw having to phone up for the money, then I assume it was down to the organisers and the club to balance the books so the corect money was paid out. i assume it was not years later,if so then that would be wrong but if we are talking months that i would expect would not be unexpected.

Good point, all those years at Uni do have a use
-
Wave of optimism! I dont think there can be any unless a buyer steps forward. The administrator will only run the club for a while.
-
Ill accept 900k if they dont

I know that the info given to me is correct. He was in the background and left jan to do his thing. In all things people will believe what they want to and so if some want to tag them together (Ican understand why as the way they were publicised)then they will
-
The more you think about it the more it seems it could be the case.I think if he did it would end in meltdown unless he had a massive investment with him. It was good to see LM pleading for fans to turn up last night.
-
I dont know how we will ever know that.I have been told that he took a back seat and let Jan get on with it with his number 2.i dont think it helped how they were put up as a duo when patently jan was calling the shots in training and on matchdays regarding tactics substitutions etc.
-
I can see the sense in the Dyer one as he was going to be a free agaent abd then we got an offer for him.Perhaps good business if we had stayed solvent.
-
Perhaps but for the club to have reduced its debt by that much it was doing something right. Players who we had out on loan and a price atached will be sold a lot cheaper now. There was talk that Watford were going to pay in the region of 750k for Rasiak and Swansea wanted nathan. No doubt they are going to be 200k each cheaper for them to buy.Another cut at our asset value.
-
it seems that the club were pushed into a corner, but if RL and the club were preparing for months for this day then I would expect Rl was as well. Who knows it is dangerous times. Now he has left (allegedly) I dont want him to return and the rest to go with him. I will be happier when the others are gone as well.

good point, they would be fresher as well. Lol
