  1. I thought you'd be brighter than that.Somebody who wants the softer female side of the club to come out and then suggest getting the fns to sing a song calling the manager a w##### in Dutch. Lol
  2. But to be fair the fans from day 1 here were not happy with RL. This was due I believe as there was a campaign from a politically motivated group of fans who made the reverse takeover an issue. Now i do not condone it but me and 99.9% of fans didn not understand the reverse takeover and would have been blissfully happy not to know. The rumours of Gavin Davies etc are a myth and so a vocal group of fans made the tenure difficult from the beginning. The cok ups have been just the same and their fanbase more supportive, whether they are right is another thing.Perjhaps again as you put they had been through the bad times and so accepted the bad more gracefully. We are like Johnnie rich boy who has had the safety of nannies all his life and now thrashing about like a spoilt child as she has gone because dady has gone bankrupt. We were spoilt into believing we were fireproof and a big club.As much as i hate to say it PFC123's post is probably the most realistic on here.
  3. Im not saying there wasnt a will to suceed before but Wotte has added something to the dressing room.I have said this before a couple of games and of course it hasnt shown on the pitch.I can only relay what I have been told and whilst i was very bemused at Wottes initial appointmnet and said so on here, the reports I have from the camp have been very favourable and the original impression about Mr Chocolate have now changed as he has worked properly with him. A good indication is how the team fights for the manager. The last few games whilst fans have been dismissive i see that the tram have tried to go for the points and been caught out late 2 but the will has been there.
  4. They have the same reasons to want the change of chairman though.Due to not keeping their manager and then apponting badly, that is the crux of why the fans dislike or argue why we went down.
  5. It is not me rewriting history. i can tell you Wotte stood back and let Jan do as he did. Jan was his own man and did it his way, Wotte has come in and changed things to do it his way.He hasnt long to get things right, but as i said before i know things have changed in the dressing room and that there is a will to suceed. i hope my renewed faith since Wottes appointment comes to pass, it better do or we will be L1 next season
  6. OB I share your sentiments (except not regretting the Hoddle thing) but there is a very large percentage of Saints who dont deserve the club you are envisaging. Of the marchers I would suggest 99% are doing it as they hurt at what is happening to the club (even though a lot would not understand the need for financial prudence or budgetting) the rest are attention seekers , whiners and not very bright.
  7. To be fair yes Wotte has been here 2 minutes in real terms,, so was it fair to immediately have slogans and banners up against him on the first march? Would you expect him to show any inclination to hug you after that? The fans on the march are well meaning and true Saints fans the same as myself who is not on the march.Wotte maybe should be more diplomatic and have siad DW's words, he hasn't and so the fans who are on the march have taken offence.I doubt that will make any difference to Wotte's popularity as they were campaigning against him as well last time. I now know my weekend relaxation /enjoyment is likely to be spoilt tomorrow by all the RL nonsense.
  8. Wes I suggest you know the implications of feeling physically threatened to MC compared to say LC saying it. It makes RL look like a woman beater and so carries much more weight in my book. A claim like that can only fuel a image to serve whose purpose? I picked up on the claim as i found it uncomfortable to think that MC felt as though RL was likely to pin her to a wall with a fist in her face threatening her. Surely that needs to be corrected. What is your understanding of feeling physically threatened?
  9. Keeping Jan too long a big fat NO.Getting the runaway finances in check YES Upsetting the fanbase NO Uniting the fanbase NO Dividing the fanbase YES It will never be just a Yes or No Ginge. I want the club unified as much as anyone but it has to be done in a way that keeps the club out of administration. I was told that we had to go into Administration by Feb 26th to get all things ready for the 10point deduction this season. Therefore i would suggest that the next 2 games may well tell our fate. Now of course if we have to go into Administration my first YES then gets called into question.Afterall we can only judge from the littel info we have and do not know the full picture.
  10. Wow, 'hits out at those to blame.'Any mirrors in his house.I look forward to read that, if he just cites RL and MW he is deluded.
  11. I like the words you put there, and perhaps the club should read those and get Wotte to say such a thing. "Let's all get behind the team and put our differences aside." a fantastic summary of what the club and fans should be saying. Daren you should be the fans spokesman as I believe you can bridge both divides. Respected from both sides of the arguement and so perhaps the best the fans could put forward in these times of strife.
  12. I think he may have been alluding to the fact that the last march was organised by a 16 year old.I do wonder that the club knows the disenchanted are lost and os they are not looking to appease them. The chairman whose job the marchers wish to get rid of will not worry that his manager annoys them. It is a battle of the wills, and RL is strong willed it seems. NOBODY is going to win, the anti's will effect the atmosphere to many fans weekend relaxatio, RL will carry on upsetting a percentage of fans and so it is another spiral downwards.
  13. Well you had them out at any cost and it could be well the cost of the clubs existance. You may have been Little red riding hood and run into the arms of the wolf but me and a few others warned against 'anyone but Lowe'. I want him gone now as we will not unite with him.I doubt that as we are so divided we will ever do so, 1 thing is for certain the fans who warned against the Wilde bunch didnt boycott games and do marches ,we went along and supported the team because it was unimportant in the real world. Who is going to own up that they bought one of the Wilde tee shirts then ?Lol
  14. Yep except SU and SWed. The make up of the team has changed dramatically in the last few weeks. Now we have an experienced side with a sprinkling of younger players.WE have 14 games to make the points up it is not over but very close to if we keep messing up.
  15. I cant understand that , tell us ANYONE who would do so. They were paid out because they lost their position due to a new group coming in.The fans that wanted them out at all costs and thats what they got.Ask any of theo thers who have taken money from the club and they wouldn't pay up as well
  16. I suppose that may be the case although fans did ask that he said little and he has followed that wish.If RL had stood and hurled the abuse would he have been so well received as LC etc did? I think that the AGM that RL LC and LM all behaved poorly add to that my old schoolfriend who did something silly but as jesture only not to hurt. The picture thing is comical, Im sure Thatcher took down Heaths picture, Blair Thatchers and brown sure would have taken down Blairs picture. Why the fuss at a AGM about that. The pont was that the ambush was pre empted and left the anti brigade in chaos as their plan went awry. The club was hurt by all.
  17. 'probably last chance' and wont that we will be relegated definetely for a few weeks as you fat lady has not started singing .Would you declare if we were 10points behind and still 30 odd to play for. While you are alive you have to keep trying.
  18. Um i wish i knew how to reply in headings like you do, i cant and so.... GB's record against NP would have been better. The fans had lost faith and I agree GB had lost his edge as it was patently clear he could achieve no better as the best were sold.Yes NP did take over a team on the slide BUT the arrest of the slide came very very late after Leicester failed to take advantage of our poor results.NP can be said to have done the job. Wotte is not my choice but again i can only go by what i am hearing and his actions.Iam assured the players have warmed to him since the day he took over and had a meeting with the staff and they had their opportunity to put their views across. It seemed to go well, whilst the results have not picked up he has done what the majority have asked for and that is to play the Saga's /Rudis etc and also started to play with aggression. I myself have not been upset with his interviews as basically he is telling it as he sees it and not playing to the audience. PNE is probably our last chance to salvage anything although we hve 14 games left. I will stay positive as i am not prepared to lay down and accept the relegation for some weeks yet.
  19. We might start bragging about wins against Bury next season as they could well be our opponents
  20. I will always cherish the feeling after the SU game.it is one of those games that have been as exciting as winning the cup.Last day V West Ham, last day home to Wimbledon, Dellhurst park etc but i can't still forget how we so nearly from a point of safety nearly got relegated. i do want to go over old ground again re GB but if you took out the G&D period i suggest that his points tally was better. NP got out of jail in the last few minutes of the season i hope Wotte can do the same but just a bit quicker although he has the harder job IMO
  21. perhaps but I like to point out that Cinderella is not a virgin
  22. I think none of the protagonists came out with any credit. Both sides seem to me approached the meeting set to wind up the other. If MC felt threatened or uncomfortable I think that is wrong for her to feel so.It also makes it perfectly clear she would not be able to cope with any major job at the club, as we all know the fans or others can be very threatening.(not that I feel she has intention of doing so0
  23. I hope that we dont spiral down further like we did last season
  24. To be fair could he also put alongside it how much LM paid for shares and how much he took in wages. £400 and sold for £200,000 + I think the Richards article said let alone all the ambassador money.RL I assume was a full time member of staff when he took his salary. He did get his severence pay but that was down to the Wilde bunch hoodwinking the fanbase.
